I had no idea this was soy free. I just assumed it was a soy product! This is awesome. Even when I was an omnivore, I remember really liking seitan. Thanks!

I found it a lot easier to stick to a healthy diet if I eliminated super sweet stuff like sodas. After about a week, my body stopped craving it and I don't get that post-sugar-rush slump. Whatever floats your boat!

I prefer working out alone so I can focus. My workout time is my meditation. This is why I prefer doing things like running or lifting one on one with a trainer so I can just focus on myself and my goals. I don't like to socialize during workouts because it's distracting.

I couldn't figure out a way to do keto as a vegetarian so I would be curious to hear about others' experiences.

I'll probably have the leftovers for dinner because they were good and I'm still craving them. banana…

Garden of Life. They make protein powders as well as meal replacement shake powders. I add a scoop of either to my smoothies (never drink them plain).

do you mean the flavoured stuff that comes with sugar in it? Try switching to regular ol coffee cream to start. It'll give you the richness without the sugar. Then try milk or unsweetened vanilla nut milks. There's also a coconut milk creamer that gives the nice richness of coffee cream but fewer calories (10 cals per tbsp…

I stay away from MLMs as a rule. Never buy a product through an MLM that you could easily find in a regular store. Garden of Life makes an excellent meal replacement shake powder and it's cheaper (they also make protein powders). There are tons out there, though. Any product that comes with strings attached (like a…

I think the two are mutually exclusive. You need to already have an eating disorder to turn veganism, or any way of eating, for that matter, into disordered eating. Eating a plant-based diet itself is not a type of unhealthy/disordered eating.

I marinate portobello slices in taco seasoning and lime juice and grill them on my grill pan (basically the Oh She Glows Portobello 'steak' taco recipe) and use it in tacos. Vegan enchiladas, tacos, burrito bowls, lol. Apparently I'm really feeling a Mexican food vibe lately. I just bought some masa harina so I can make…

Echoing what another poster said, there are a ton of great resources online. I also use Oh She Glows & Minimalist Baker websites a ton (I have both Oh She Glows cookbooks and use them often). Look up vegan 'what I eat in a day' videos on youtube to get an idea of what plant-based meals might look like and get some…
