Why 12 weeks? Lifting tends to become a lifelong pursuit, so this strikes me as odd.

I'm a newbie in this. I started my journey about a month ago. Gawd, did I hate cardio! The only reason I started lifting weights is that I hated cardio. Now I'm addicted to lifting weights. I notice every day I'm gaining strength and my body shape is shifting. I've never felt this good before

Does everyone here count their macros? If so do you eat the same thing everyday?

I count macros (i carb/calorie cycle). The only thing that is constant is my protein. And no, i eat a variety of items daily. You can look at my diary, it's public.

Getting into my first week for power lifting competition meet prep. Competition is on March 25th. I maxed out two weeks ago and am hoping to pull 300 at the meet, squat 250-255 and just not crush myself with the bench press.

I love, love, love to lift. Started when I was 13 but I haven't always been consistent until the last 5 years. I treat every lifting session like it's my last. :)
