  • Ketogenic diets really work! They helped my mom drop and keep off about 50 lbs, and it works for me too. It also is recommended for children and dogs with seizures. I know that sounds weird but my dog switched to a ketogenic diet and it stopped his seizures! Would recommend.
  • I can definitely feel if I'm bloated from water in the morning after either salty things, or a beer or two. It can make a huge difference for me, I'd say 3 pounds or so. Don't always just chalk weight gain up to water retention, but if you can feel it, that's probably contributing.
  • I do a lot of sir fry, but not traditional ones. I keep tomato sauce, bell pepper sauce, tostitos queso dip, and a few others on hand at all times. Then I make dinners that are one veggie (zucchini, broccoli, green beans, spaghetti squash) and about 200-300 calories of whatever protein i want (chicken, beef, lean turkey)…
  • You can add it late to a beef or chicken stir fry to add a little spice. You can also make a bibimbap without the rice!
  • If you need more sleep, then i need more sleep too 0.o
  • Agreed! Starvation mode is not a real thing. Make sure you are measuring everything!! Small bits of unmeasured stuff adds up quick and estimations can be way off (im horrendous at estimating things) other than that, lean more towards veggies than fruit. And keep doing what you're doing! Don't get discouraged or give up :)
  • Something ive done is put all my pictures into photoshop, trace the outlines, and match them up to each other. It a cool way to see how much im shrinking! Its great motivation for me
  • Would love to friend you guys too! Also a huge dork and Joss Whedon fan (Dr Horribles sing along blog is on my ipod). Unfortunately I don't burn as many calories playing video games as my characters do :P im 15 down and 30-40 ish to go.
  • Congrats!!! Keep up the good work!
  • I would start with just logging everything. Once you see what you are putting in your body all in front of you, its a lot easier to see whats wrong!
  • The only thing I deal with are migraines, but I totally understand the coping with food! You can lose if you want to though :) Have faith! And also try and shift your coping patterns to something other than food. I know for me to stop using food to cope, I normally craft things instead and it makes me feel better. Don't…
  • I can do 3 things differently next week :) good way to break it down. Thanks!
  • I always keep myself at sedentary no matter what my activity level :P I feel like it cant hurt. Also i would recommend getting a fitbit! You can link it to myfitnesspal and it will adjust your calories based on how much you walk each day!
