Today was a good day... I have lost ~60 or so from my worst weight and I have lost many inches. So I went out and purchased a new suit.. from a 46R down to a 42R and from +40W into these.... 36W slacks. I guess I should update the thread title... Signed up a year ago, and have a 105Day streak... :)

I'm not stopping... Just having a moment to pout.. I'm going to try the 100Days of Real Food with my wife and see what that does for my numbers.. if that still does not have it under control, I guess I'll have to try the meds and see what other options I have at that time.

Sadly, My results A1C, LDL,HDL are all "better" than my last lab (2011), but all also still very Bad. I'm beyond frustrated at this time. I sent the Dr. a Portal message.... I guess I'll see how he responds. I thought I had come so far....

I am in this same boat.. years ago in the AF I hated running..always hurting. Now, i'm trying to use better form and feet placement along with heart strap and monitoring effort. so the other morning, I was talked into an early morning run... (I despise running).. I said yes.. I also found that my Back Fat was not beating me to death like it had months ago when I tried running... Blistered up my feet, but thats another issue.. ;)

I'm just a guy, but.... at my worst I was 265+.. i'm sitting just over 200 now and if it were not for the clothes falling off, I would not "see" much change at all. I truly Envy you brave folks to get the shots in front of the mirror at your time of decision... cause its much easier to compare two photographs than that…

What I found very helpful is find a local group that has a beginner section. we call it group 3.. They will in most cases be very helpful and it will be a "no-drop" ride. I go to DR end of Aug.. I'm Hopeful that this is the case. I'm a bad patient and quit taking my meds some long time ago. I had been loosing slowly and feeling better so I hope I was right.. We will see.. Good Job!! Super status.

I finally realized I was on the right track when I realized my paint sizes went from 42 to 40.. and I could slide them off without unbuttoning... Then after picking up some 38's again I can slide them off without undoing them.. Now. my original jeans are able to fall off if I don't put a belt on... .. Love reading theses...

I dropped about 10-15 and then sat between 219-223 for a month.. Riding over 50miles a week and thinking I was watching my eating.... I was furious when I saw 218 turn into 222 over night. My wife and I started this program last month.... What I have come to understand is loosing is a very slow process. If you try and speed it up you will only starve one day and binge the next. Find some type of exercise you like.. Wife, she walks. I, like to ride bikes. it really does not take much to make a dent in the net…
