Great choice deciding to get back on track :)

Are there any vegan or vegetarian protein shake options that you've considered? Some of them could increase your lean muscle mass if used as suggested. I actually am ordering some that just came out from a company I've used before. I can let you know how it is!

I'm a mom! Thankfully my son eats pretty healthy but my boyfriend and his daughter do not! It has been difficult to make meals that everyone can agree on! Feel free to add me! :)

cut out processed foods! the program I use also cuts out dairy for the first month at least. :)

This is such a great community :)

the added protein can give your muscles the fuel they need to build more lean muscle which burns more calories. You just want to make sure you find a quality protein... a lot of them out there are full of antibiotics and hormones. :)

Yes calorie counting definitely works, but just make sure that your calories are coming from good whole foods and reduce how much processed food you eat. You've got this!! :)

I've just started taking a supplement because the products I use came out with a new line (whey protein shakes and all that). It's pretty delicious. I have noticed a fair amount of difference. Mainly I need to workout for longer and push through it. However if you take more than the minimum dose I have seen friends with…

I think if you are truly committed you'll do great! I use MFP in conjunction with some meal replacement shakes (which I am not promoting, you do whatever you think works for you) but I've lost 20 pounds total and 12 since utilizing MFP. You can do this! :)

I have lost 20 pounds without being athletic at all... I have about 10 more pounds to go if I factor in the muscle I need to build to burn the extra crap off. I just purchased a new package the program I do offers that has preworkout and stuff like that. I should get it tomorrow I'm excited. If you would like to add me we…

What are the goals you are trying to reach?

Hi Shelby I'm 28 too! Congrats on your weight loss that's an awesome achievement! I actually use MFP in conjunction with another program which I'd be happy to talk to you about if you're interested.

Hi Jess! Great choice! This is a great community! I have a program that I use in conjunction with MFP that has worked really well for me, if you are interested I'd love to tell you more. Feel free to add me. :)

I am doing the lifestyle change thing too! Go us!

This is a great community and we're here to support you. I also do a program that has a lot of support and we're at about 40,000 members on our FB group. Let me know if that is something you might be interested in as well. :)

I use meal replacement shakes with 24-36g of protein. I lost 16 pounds of fat with that and clean eating. My goal isn't really to bulk up but I'd rather be strong than skinny anyway! Actually my eating has been really bad lately so I am committing to a week of no cheating to see where that takes me! :)

I'm 28, 4'11" and 115 pounds! boy do I know about that doughy feeling!!! I was at 135 when I started, I don't know what the heck happened! :) I also enjoy beer lol

Joining MFP was a great choice! Logging all those little snacks will show how many extra calories you're consuming. Really an eye opener!
