I tried Atkins and was ready to kill someone by day 4. I much prefer simply counting calories with the MyFitnessPal app and eating ALL the foods I like WHEN I want them - just in controlled amounts - without fear of "messing" anything up like what happens with Atkins and you're trying to get into that "ketosis" mode or whatever the heck it is.

Good luck to you - but most of the folks I know who did Atkins gained their weight back after it was over because Atkins is not a sustainable diet. It doesn't teach you much about portion control, calorie control, etc..only about restricting certain foods. For me, it is more appealing to be able to eat anything I like, as long as I do not overdo it. And that I can do the rest of my life.

You are trying Atkins, what else have you tried if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for the info. I've tried a few diet pills and b12 shots that didn't work. I've tried the military diet that was to hard to keep up. And garcinia cambogia made my stomach hurt.
