Thanks for all the comments. You are all right, I just need to set another goal and keep moving. It just feels weird to be in a place I never actually thought I would get to. I'll try to not be hard on myself and just enjoy the progress I have made and keep making more!

@ usmcmp, I am sort of new to weight lifting, 6 months in. I am kind of just doing what I want with research. I basically do isolated and compound exercises that target most of my upper body muscles. I'll look into strength programs. It's good to know that slower upper body progression is normal. Thanks! @ ndj1979, I am…

Don't let your weight define you. If you want to change, make a plan and be patient. It will come but in the meantime, try to keep your positive traits in mind :)

I would echo what lorrpb said. 100 in a year is pretty lofty and is maybe not possible for everyone. Just keep your expectations in check and don't get down on yourself if you are not always slated to meet it. I had a similar intention to lose 100 in a year. It took me 2 years to lose 130 but it was well worth it. Personal…

Here is a simple snack I do with walnuts from time to time. I call them Hamdingers because I love puns but you can use turkey or beef too. I just take 4 pieces of lean cold cut meat. Take a piece of low fat string cheese and pull it into 4 thick strings. Place string on meat and then take 3-5 walnuts and line it up along…

Though I did not expect things to get so heated in regards to this questions I really appreciate all the input and will take the information given, research it and apply it if it is relevant. Thank you all!

Thanks for all of the information. The information regarding it taking 2 years to recover is good to know. It really has been 5 months or less since I stopped losing wait and the loose skin actually has recovered quite a bit already so I am sure it just needs more time. I appreciate the information that helps me see the…

I do use a cocoa butter based body wash, due to life long trouble with dry skin but I will try the lotion as well for after the shower. Thanks for the recommendation!

I know soreness isn't a sign of problems but it seems odd that my stomach hasn't been sore just feeling flabby when every other muscle I work does get sore. That was an interesting article Ahoy_m8 and does sort of make sense. It seems I just need to keep doing what I am doing and I will get there. Though I am no longer…

Thanks for the information and encouragement. It still just feels weird to me that I feel so flabby this week. Thing is my stomach is the only thing that doesn't really feel sore after my workouts...

I don't have my own doctor, which I need to find. I was just hoping there was another way to find out or calculate it. I guess not. I am pretty sure by looking at myself, I still have a little more to go down.

That 4500 burned is a number a calorie burning calculator gave me that includes all of my exercise, as well as other activities like showering, taking care of kids, sleeping, etc, etc. So it's everything. I have been ramping up as well. I ride my bike 10 miles in 30 minutes where a couple weeks ago I could only do 7. The…

Thanks everyone for the comments. I had taken the water/food fluctuation in to account and usually wake up first thing in the morning, take a leak and then jump on the scale to make sure the number is same -ish. Which is why I expected it to go up this morning (since I ate a much bigger dinner than normal much and later at…
