I love the topic of this discussion! This week has been super trying on my stress levels at work. So just for today I commit to getting outside and doing some cardio rather than skipping a work out for wine and pj's! I know it always makes me feel better anyways...funny how that works.

I agree with going for a walk, doing stairs and putting the headphones in. If I'm feeling extremely anxious, I won't force myself to go to the gym if it's going to heighten anxious thoughts. I listen to my mind/body and do what it needs to feel better and more relaxed. Keep at it!

They say a healthy weight loss is max 2 lbs per week. Sounds like you're losing about 1 lb per week which is also really good. Sounds cliche but muscle weighs more than fat, so if you are lifting, you may not see as big of a loss on the scale but eventually you will see your shape changing. Sounds like you are on the right…

I usually eat 3 meals and 3 snacks per day which breaks down to about two 300 cal meals + one 500 cal meal and three 100 calorie snacks. I'm not a perfect logger but I find this is the easiest way to plan out my diary for the day. Pre-making breakfast sandwiches and freezing them for the week really works for me so i'm not…

So just in case there is someone who dealing with a similar situation as me and needs some answers... I was down 2 lbs this week. Still a slow start as it's been a month of logging almost BUT still a gain! Now I can better tell what works for me and what I need to change to truly see results.

Thanks everyone! I definitely feel more reassured.

I try to remember how it feels when you give up during those "bumps" and have to start over again!

Hi, I've dealt with anxiety myself for several years. Also, I just started tracking on MFP consistently again for the past three weeks. One way to that I work on my physical and mental health at the same time is by doing exercises outside like walking a scenic trail or finding a good set of stairs to do sets on outside.…

Your lowest is around my goal weight and I'm a tall girl too (5'9"). Just curious how tall you are?

50 lbs is my ultimate but I'm trying to focus on 10 lb increments. I plan to celebrate each 10 lb loss with with a friend! Definitely easier said than done. Good luck :)

Great tip! Small changes could work for me too. First one; stop mindless snacking.

Thanks! I think that weighing every few weeks is a good idea. Weight fluctuates so often and it can be discouraging.

Thanks I will take a look for sure!

Congrats! Added :)
