I'd love some more FitBit friends (and here if you'd like to add me!). My profile is www.fitbit.com/user/3HV2PT

Thank you xo

I threw everything out! lol. I know that may not be the best answer but when I had an overhaul of my diet, I did the same to my cupboard and I don't allow crap in the house. My husband and 3 children don't particularly like this but they know that it's the best for them as well (we did used to have a lot of crap). I only…

In the last 4 months I have probably been doing what you and others have been doing for years. I eat a lot of vegetables, natural yogurt and fish. I'm finding it fun to try new things. The 'brand name' that I am using is called 'Healthy Mummy' and there are lots of recipes and things like that which I enjoy accessing. I am…

Happy for you (or anyone) to add me! I've lost 22.9kg in the past 4 months and a total of 68.2kg over the years :) I'm from Melbourne.

Hey :) my name is Stephanie and I currently weigh 178kg (392lb) but used to weigh 243kg (535lb). I'm 38 and live in Australia. I am mother of 4, a student and work part time in customer service. My story is long but inspiring. The short version - I had lap band in 2010 and lost 65kg (143lb) but then had to have the band…

I've never done it but I have friends who do it as it reduces bloating.

I've done WW several times. I found that it was too expensive for what it was. It was great to have support and recipes etc... but I did it in the days before the internet was not as accessible and there weren't amazing communities such as this with healthy recipes at your finger tips! At the end of the day, it's what…

If I wanted it, I would have it in a small quantity but as a treat.

I never suggested it was the answer but that combined with exercise is the only thing that has worked for me and I'm really happy I've found something sustainable that I enjoy doing that is helping me get the results I'm after.

Your comment was fine, lemurcat. I'm referring to some other comments along with inboxes I have received. My understanding of clean eating is eating whole foods those that minimally processed, refined, and handled. I am no expert on clean eating as I have only been doing it for a few months but like all foods, everything…

I am still around but I felt really discouraged by some of the comments on this thread. I'm here to lose weight and get fit. I'm here to find support and be healthy. I can't do that whilst I'm drowning in back and forth banter and debate about whether what I do is satisfactory to someone else. Some people may not think…

Happy for you to add me but I did have weight loss surgery otherwise I would have died. Having said that, my lap band no longer works so I'm doing it on my own now! I was 243kg (525lb) when I had lap band and now I'm 178kg (394lb). I owe my life to my lap band but I owe it to myself to keep doing it without it's help.

Happy for anyone to add me :)

Hey :) I'm also from Melbourne (I haven't seen any fellow Melbournites on here before!). I also have 4 children (along with a part time job - I also go to Uni) so I understand your challenges for sure. I have another 90kg to lose (I've already lost 60kg odd) and I use MFP to track every day. I'm also at the gym at least 4…

I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Happy for anyone to add me :)

I've added everyone above :) I'm happy for anyone to add me.

I have just discovered Smooshed wholefood balls. They are delicious! 6 balls have 1120kj. I got mine from Aldi but I'm sure you can get them elsewhere.

I'm a bit surprised at the response this thread has received. I wouldnt be posting on a Keto thread as I'm not interested in it. I have been overweight my whole life. This way of eating is what works for me. I've tried so many other things and although it may be something people do without putting a title to it, it's…

Clean eating is a thing but I agree it can be hard to define. For me (and the program I have adapted), it's about not eating 'bad' sugars and eating whole foods. I don't deprive myself of treats - I eat chocolate now more than I did before starting! I even have pizza but it doesn't contain white flour. I also enjoy lasagna…

Happy for anyone to add me :)

I've added you all :)
-
That's okay :) it's something that has worked for me and is the only thing I've really been able to stick to! I'm hoping I'm not the only one!
-
I've added you :) I am currently following a clean eating program. It's been working for me quite well. I do allow myself some treats from time to time but I've lost 10.3kg (22lb) since I began. I can't wait for 2018 - I will smash it :)
-
I started at 535lb. I'm currently sitting at 407lb. It can be done xo
-
Well done!

Yes! Cheers (we toast with a bottle of detox water of course

Thank you everyone

You can be healthy and be overweight but it depends on your definition of health. I'm 184kg. Medically, there is nothing wrong me. I don't have diabetes, cholesterol problems, heart problems etc... I'm lucky. I know if I kept my unhealthy lifestyle up I wouldn't be so lucky. I go to the gym 5 times a week and eat well. My…
