I wanted to share my story in hope of inspiring others. It's a long story (which I will do my best to keep short).
I was 243kg (535lb) at my heaviest. I ended up having lap band in 2010 and in 2011, I got down to 168kg (370lb) but in 2012, I had to have my lapband redone. After that, I ended up being diagnosed with depression due to some issues that were happening at work and I got back up to 211kg (465lb).
I've been hovering anywhere between 190kg (418lb) and 200kg (440lb) for the last 6 years but in October last year, I decided that I couldn't live the way I was living anymore and made a change. I quit sugar, started exercising 5 times a week and I've lost 22.9kg (50.48lb) and I'm feeling fantastic.
I love meeting new people through here so if you'd like a motivated friend on your feed, add me
