I'm going to add you ladies! I'm attempting to eat intuitively and figure out how to control monthly cravings for junk. Like if I eat root vegetables, leafy greens, and higher omega 3 proteins right before my cycle, could I skip the nonstop sweet cravings during my menstrual cycle, which inevitably leads me to feeling down.

Yes add me. I'm looking for motivational friends and I keep my diary open for workouts and what I eat. I've been really diligent in tracking recently :)

I'm reading a book called In the Flo that sounds like right up your alley. Discusses adrenal fatigue and diet at length. Although she's not personally keto, she addresses keto and understands that people are choosing it for health reasons and you can follow her plan while remaining keto or low carb.…

I added you :)

Count me in! I'm keto/low carb and my macros are set to 1600 calories: 40g carbs, 125g protein & ~100g fat. I'm fairly active and work out daily for at least an hour. Curious what everyone else's macros are set at. 4/8 - 184.4 GW - 150

I'm doing whole 30 now because I went back to my poor eating habits over the holidays and needed to cut out the sugar completely in order to get over my addiction. I personally am not affected my dairy and grains, but sugar and alcohol (since it lowers my inhibitions and I prefer sugary alcohol drinks) affect my weight…

Keep going!!! You're killing it with 21 day fix and double workouts. You could even pair back if needed. Don't beat yourself up....you'll get what you put in! Maybe switch to just weighing yourself once a week if the day to day is driving you nuts. We've all been there!!

I always need to eliminate sugar, alcohol and carbs when my cravings get out of control. I'm not the greatest with moderation so when I find myself craving sugar daily and I start to feel more highs and lows throughout the day, I go back to whole 30 or cutting back on sugar (reading all labels).

So I'm similar to you that I wouldn't lose weight I ate 1500 calories. I'm 197 calories, work out hard 6 days/week (strength train + 2 mile run 3x, long runs 3x) and have to eat under 1330 calories to lose weight (even with exercise). I do have hypothyroidism but I take medicine. I'm 33 yo. I so wish I could be one of…

Yeah it happens to everyone. The problem is when it turns into a bad week or even longer because the longer you stray the harder it is to get back on track. I also try to make the days I go over worth it. I always feel like crap about myself if I binge on peanut butter and jelly or chicken nuggets or something stupid (can…

I'm not sure about the hair falling out...could be a vitamin deficiency like zinc. For b) the doctor told us to put 1/2 chicken boullon in hot water every night to restore electrolytes in your system and help combat too much protein which causes constipation. With the bouillon and regular exercise, I haven't had any…

Hi! My husband was put on a keto diet by his doctor so I'm following it as well to support him (plus I prepare all the meals). Feel free to add me. I've lost 60+ pounds in 8 months just doing CICO and have found that I'm losing 2-3 lbs a week on keto. My husband's been put on a 20g carb/day program (which only includes…

Ooh thanks for the link!

Second (or third) plain Greek yogurt with berries and a teaspoon local honey. Takes forever to eat and fills me up!
-
I eat egg and vegetable scrambles or Greek yogurt, berries, chia seeds and honey. Following for more ideas because sometimes I get bored too!

So awesome, congratulations!!! How many calories do you eat & what's your workouts like?
-
Awesome! I sent you a friend request  Such an inspiration!!

Agree with @BroBryceHealth. The recipe I use is: 2 egg yolks ½ teaspoon sea salt 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar ¾ cup avocado oil ¾ cup extra-virgin olive oil. Pour the oil slowly into a food processor until mayo consistency. I like ghee idea of Dijon though. I'll have to try that  There's also a lot of avocado…

When I hit a "plateau" I look at the week at a whole and calculate my CICO. I've found that longer periods of not losing (3-4 weeks) often I'm splurging on calories too often/eating too many exercise calories. Could you be doing really well for 4-5 days out of the week and then sabotaging all your hard work 2-3 days/week?…
-
Thanks for the calculator - I'm going to use this

Sorry link doesn't seem to be working. It's available on YouTube :)

Yeah nothing negative that I can remember.....i wanted to change my habits and stop sabotaging the efforts I was making by binging on sweets and food in general. I watched a documentary, Sugar: The Bitter Truth and that was my catalyst. It struck a chord with me. It's available on YouTube for free…

I really like Mapalicious' suggestions. So I'm with you. My whole life I have been a sugar addict. To think about what I used to eat after school as a snack, to think of all the late night pizzas and ice cream binges in college, to think of how I used to crave dessert after lunch and dinner when I was pregnant, it's no…

http://damndelicious.net/2015/04/20/mini-cauliflower-pizzas/?m I like this one! I think the bite size pieces make it soooo much easier and more fun to eat :)

Ha that's happened to me a few times! Garlic cloves & also lemon juice turn up being like 1800 calories for some reason!!

I understand why you would eat the same thing to determine your TDEE. If you're willing and able to do this, it all makes sense. Good luck!!
