  • Hi I'm new to keto and am doing skd. I am very athletic however. How will I know If my body is breaking down protein for fuel? I feel good, have only had a couple of somewhat off days (and mostly during strenuous workout) and have lost a few lbs. I am only looking to reduce 8 lbs, maybe 10 if the gods allow it:) Thanks.

  • I'm just starting this myself but your protein seems low. I'm 5'2 also, 118 lbs, probably 30% body fat (that's just a guess) and I'm eating closer to 75g of protein....of course I could have that wrong but I don't think so.

  • Thank you Karlottap. This WOE is so against the grain, so to speak. But when you look at the science it makes absolute sense. Man adapted to burn glucose from being a fat burner. We're really just reverting back to our evolutionary roots.
