That goes for any holiday. Today is Respect Your Cat day. It must be celebrated with unlimited fooding.

I completely agree and also Girl Scout cookies would fall into this category. An entire box of Samoas has no calories.

I agree with this completely. The biggest gift I can give myself for my health is time. I work from home two days a week and commute three. I'm working towards a full-time WFH gig. I might come with a pay sacrifice, but I also think I can cut some in other places to make up for it. I didn't realize how valuable my time was…

Not much more to advise here other than let your therapist know that you are having obsessive thoughts about calories and calorie counting and macro tracking. It's likely that you don't need to track any of these and focus on simply eating more food. It's a tough rabbit hole to get out of. It could be that you need an…

I love to run. My husband hates to run. I never ask or tell my husband that he should run with me. Because he hates to run. He loves to cycle. I'm not really a big fan of cycling. He never bugs me about going cycling because he knows I am not a fan. We both love to hike. We go on a lot of hikes together.

Sometimes I'll eat a bigger dinner so I don't get hungry later. I eat Halo Top quite a bit. I also like popcorn.

That was a sad realization for me, but I did eventually grow to like my alone time in the early mornings. 4am comes early, but it's all MINE. :)

I run a lot. Up mountains. My calves are awesome.

The best one is the one that you do and enjoy.

I have a subscription to Les Mills On Demand. Other programs like Daily Burn, Fitness Blender, and Beachbody have similar online programs. There are shorter and longer workouts ranging from no equipment required to a bit of equipment required. I find this a great supplement to the other stuff I do, but might also work for…

Another vote for more calories. 1200 is just asking for failure. You have a lot of wiggle room, so eat as many calories as you can and still lose. Unless you are in a doctor-suoervised calorie amount, 1200 will become u sustainable.

I've been the same weight after losing 100lbs for going on two years now. Hubby still encourages me to "just buy healthy stuff" at the grocery store.

I do this quite a lot. A frozen dinner and a quick salad (prewashed salad greens in a bag). A can of soup. There's some birds-eye veggie pasta that I like to buy that's microwavable. I get some frozen, diced chicken and make that quite often. There's definitely a lot of ways to DIY your prepared food plan that's not…

Cottage cheese Protein pancakes Tacos for dinner? Not sure yet. I just got done eating my way through NYC last weekend.

Wunjo is a newer brand that has hydration packs, too. A bit more affordable than others.

I use a Osprey Dyna hydration backpack for my long training runs. For shorter runs under 5 miles I usually don't bring anything with me. More than 5 but less than 10 I have a handheld Nathan water bottle. On race day (half marathon distance), I will use my handheld because I don't like stopping at aid stations unless I…

Also Wacoal has a few great sports bras, too. Well into the larger sizes. I have both a Wacoal and Panache and prefer the Wacoal for running. The Panache is fine for my at-home workouts or exercise classses.

Both sort of. This time of year, I have a running window between 4:30 and 6pm while my son is at soccer practice, so that's when I get my mid-week shorter runs done. My weekends I do a long run, which are based on distance.

I use Les Mills on Demand at home. There are strength and cardio options. There is some equipment to buy, but you can purchase less expensive alternatives to the branded things. I think I pay $12.99 per month for the subscription and I use it 3-4 times per week. Do you have any interest in running? Once I felt like walking…

If you like to eat that way and it keeps you in a calorie deficit, then keto is best for you. It sounds miserable to me, so as long as my pancakes and sloppy joes fit my calories, that's what I choose to eat. I must be doing something right, because I lost 100lbs.

Did you personally enter the food selections (create your own foods) or choose from the database? If you chose from the database which is user-created, there's a high possibility that the macros for each food you chose isn't spot on.

I track calories very closely and macroa very loosely. I have a protein goal and aim to meet that every day and let my fats and carbs fall wherever within my calorie target. My most satisfying days usually see a close split between all macros. Then it's close to TOM, it gets very carb heavy, and my carbs are also way…

I've not had heartburn except once since I got out of the obese range.

I've tried using meal replacement drinks for weight loss in the past, but they aren't ever as satisfying as real food, so then I also hungry I binge on too many calories. I've had more success finding a reasonable calorie goal on the MFP calculator and planning my food to fit those calories. It's a little extreme feeling…

I just had a dry needling session last Friday. I want to say it did provide immediate relief, but now I can't tell if the pain I have been having (for the first time in two weeks) was related to that session or the weird way I sat at dinner that night (bar stools are tricky with how I have to position my hip when I sit).

I consume sweets frequently, and as long as I am in a calorie deficit, I lose weight despite the substance of my diet.

It took me some time to find what I liked to do for exercise. At first, I just started incorporating a walk into my day. As I lost weight and wanted to add more exercise, I tried some classes at the gym and running. I found I really enjoyed running and stuck with that, and the Les Mills BodyPump classes at the gym. I still…

I come and go with snacks like that. I do use Larabars quite a bit for my long runs as fuel. I do like a good protein smoothie, so I use protein powder and mix with greek yogurt and a banana. There's a few Quest bars I really like. I notice when I buy them, hubby treats them more like snacks (like a granola) rather than…

I managed back-to-back runs this weekend. Even though I'm not advised to do that by my PT, I wanted to test the waters. I figured my hips would get really tight, but in actuality it was not problematic at all and this has been my most painless week since my injury. Very happy about that!
