but still, I get your point. It's not fair when one does everything right, follows drs orders to the letter, when the personal trainer says jump off a cliff the go running off the nearest one while their friend/spouse barely gives 50% pigs out on mostly junk and they loose 25 pounds like nothing and your the one gaining 10…

honestly, if weight loss was as easily as CICO or hey fatty-put down the donut and go for a jog aaannndd we're good the diet, weight loss, fitness and supplement industry would not be worth the billions its currently worth.

I'm still pretty big at 390 pounds but....I don't miss much. What I miss the most is....I can't think of anything right now. The scale has completely stalled on me but I'm still moving forward. I keep getting people telling me I'm bulking up/getting more narrow and better defined, even though the scales been stuck at…

I took 2 20 minute walks with my dog and according to map my walk website, I've walked .75 miles today

My thoughts- I DO see the point that's trying to be made, I do. I do see how many fitness dvds can be intimidating and down right scare some people off. And I will agree 100% it comes right down to knowing your physical limitations, knowing how far to push your self and some types of fitness DVD's don't work well....me, I…

You can do this!!! It's going to be a great journey. November 2014 is when I was at my heaviest, 443 pounds Down to 390-no where near where I wanted to be right now. Slow progress. But I'm starting to get the hang of this weight loss stuff. I'm 36, no major health issues as well, other than high blood pressure but don't…

Hold your chin up, keep going and do it your way-even if it may not be the way you "should" do it. Measure success by your own terms even if it doesn't make sense to others.

You'll develop foot problems from losing weight-yep. 3 podiatrists have told me my chronic plantar fasciitis has developed from my weight loss, thanks to how my gait has changed. Also I've stretched and injured the muscles in the keystone arch of my feet from simply getting off my bum and walking my dog about a mile a week…

some advice for you if you have space in your car to help combat munchies while out and about: Invest in a good portable lunch type cooler. Throw in there 6-8 single serving bottles of water or low sugar/sugar free box juice things kids drink. Then toss in some single serving sizes of pretzels, fat free/salt free baked…

For me, the last year has been...very trying. Don't look it as a set back or starting over-keep moving forward. Figure out what you need to do-meet with a diet expert to look over your current diet and help make adjustments, give your self the gift of a couple sessions with a personal trainer to help you restart/jumpstart…

thanks. Its just hard for me to believe just by standing in water and stretching I burn 350 some odd calories according to my fitness pal if I log it under water aerobics. But I'll add it there. :) Trying to get in the habit of logging my food and workouts.

My advice? Educate your self. Educate yourself about food labels, calorie counts, salt content, ect. Educate yourself on how much of everything you should consume. Track your food, try to keep within what you need to be at to loose weight. Don't get upset if the scale stops moving. Important thing? You keep moving, keep…
