I grew up in Canada and the States, but don't really care for peanut butter, nor understand all the love for reese's pieces ;-/ Boiled peanuts, on the other hand! <3

Ice cream and/or gelato everyday. Gelato, weighed out by the GRAM :( But everyday.

I think it's hard to maintain a specific weight in the long-term by diligence or motivation or inspiration. At some point, we are all gonna relax, life will intervene, our mind will focus on other things. "Lifestyle change" to me means implementing a series of habits that automates our goals, so that maintaining weight &…

It is never you gaining 10 lbs in one day ;) Probably water fluctuations,if you worked out hard the night before, or, apparently, if you ate a lot of carbs.

Lol, like a weird form of cannibalism.

Yes. Chicken. ;-|

I don't own a scale, and go by taking photos and fit of clothing. Weightloss is not linear anyway, I don't want to endure the inevitable emotional roller-coaster. However, when I reach what I feel to be a comfortable weight, I think I'll get one so I can see whether to continue or maintain.

I find that once I up my protein, I can easily eat under 1350 cal, and on most days, around 1200, simply because I'm no longer hungry and also to save calories for a couple of weekend meals. I am 5'1 and around 120 lbs.

YES, you can lose weight by calorie deficit alone. In fact, you can stop now if you'd like, lol. Not eating excessively is more important than anything. Exercise is for overall health. Weightlifting gives us muscles for sexay-ness ;) Cardio gives lung/heart/endurance, and a cushion to eat more and/or lose faster, but I.…

I do heavy weight lifting 3x a week (stronglift 5x5, a full-body workout program), and started immediately along with changing my diet. I don't do any cardio, and have no problem with becoming stronger plus losing weight, even though I am only 10 lbs from goal weight.

Soon! Immediately! Whenever you want? :) Why do you think you need to wait?

From the patient and polite way you have interacted on this thread, you already are a person with inner strength, insight, and emotional-resilience, but simply have many legitimate challenges that makes it hard to see this in yourself. It is helpful to understand that while these issues obstruct you, they are actually…

I'm a very lazy person, and know I won't keep up with anything that will require me to go out of my way. To counteract this: I got a digital food scale to make sure my diet is on-point, pre-log so I don't have to think about food too much, and bought heavy weights so I can lift while watching tv  and NO CARDIO. I…

I'm 155 cm and felt dizzy and weak on 1200, let alone 1000. I weight train 3x a week and do no cardio, and lose on 1350 a day. I think your love of nuts is both from you really liking nuts, but also due to your body really needing the protein and fat, which is very hard to get enough of on 1000 Cal.

For vanity ;) For the almost immediate increase in energy and strength.

I eat whatever I want, so long as it fits into my calories and protein for the day. I have ice cream and Gelato everyday. But yeah, I am one of those who are ok with eating 15 grams of Gelato or 25 g of cheesecake and be done for the day
