Should I do the strength training on different days and do the cardio on different days or should I keep doing it together the way I'm doing it

Thank you so much I just Wanted to know because with the weight loss I don't want my Skin to sag too much so I wanted to put in some kind of strength training but I don't know really if I should do it when I'm doing the cardio

When I'm at the gym I do cardio I do 40 minutes a day on the treadmill and then afterwards I do chest compressions I weigh 306pounds I was waiting 308 pounds
