Starting weight : 107 / current weight : 102 Lows... my seven month daughter lost weight! Having a hard time with pumping / lactation despite eating well over 2,000 cals a day. :/ Changes : adding coconut oil to her puree...and I bought the Squeeze Station because she loves the pouches! She's been fussing over her solids…

My allowance is 2500 for the day, and I'm still have difficulty. I love lactation cookies :) mmmmm....

I could NEVER eat that little (1800 would make me ravenous, and I wouldn't be able to sleep)... I'm with you on that!

I do exercise every day, and I walk an incredible amount (not always by choice, I live in NYC and have to walk everywhere). It just seems crazy because I DO eat a lot every day, whether I'm exercising or not. Ugh. My seven month old actually lost weight this month and it is so upsetting to me.

I agree. You're not overweight and you could be compromising the health of your baby.

My seven month old actually lost weight this month and when I pump I'm not getting as much :/

Thanks for the response! I'm 5'2/3" and eat about 2,500 at 102 pounds and I don't feel like it's enough for my supply anymore. Really annoying

Thank you! I've noticed that I drop a bit if I go below 2500 as well. I also excercise very often. I'm drinking fenugreek tea but so far I think it's only making me smell funny haha

First, you have to realize that you are not alone in this. The path of your weight loss / binging is extremely common among people who suffer from eating disorders. The thing is, you want to avoid having the pattern continue, and that often takes therapy because you have to change your entire relationship with food. I…

You're definitely not alone! This weekend was rough for me as well. I was good yesterday but I didn't even bother to log on Saturday!

Sometimes weight loss happens gradually at first, and then boom! you drop like four pounds in a week! Also, if you're exercising, you could be putting on muscle weight. Don't be discouraged! If you're eating enough and getting exercise, it's a numbers game and your body may need some time to adjust. It's only been three…

I'm 5'2" / 3" and 102 pounds. I had a baby this year, and my pre-pregnancy weight was 98 pounds. I'm breastfeeding and that burns a lot of calories. I never eat below 2,200 calories a day though. And I have a huge appetite!
-
I know this isn't your posted topic, but under 1k calories a day seems very low.... I wouldn't suggest that OP go there. That seems rather dangerous.

I'm not really a runner so I don't know :)

This was really helpful. Thanks!

I completely agree. I shouldn't have to throw out food. The garbage can should NOT win. And I spent money on that food, hard earned money! I should be able to be around it, to co-exist with it. I'm right there with you.

I might sound dumb but what's an invite? I didn't receive anything...

She has a bit of a cold (guilty...she caught it from me!), so maybe that has to do with it?
-
I agree about the consistency :) thanks!
-
Thanks! I've been doing it wrong haha
-
Congrats on your weight-loss success! That's a great story :)

I'm in :)

Ugh, is there a sleep regression for seven month olds? My daughter kept waking and she's been so good lately so I hope this is just a temporary thing!

If you're doing Jillian Michaels, could you possibly be gaining muscle weight? Also, you have to make sure that you're eating enough. You said you have a significant calorie deficit, which can sometimes work AGAINST you. What are your caloric needs at this point? How much would you said you're taking in on a daily basis?…

Haha, I live in New York City (work in Manhattan and lived there, now live in Brooklyn), and the subway gets so annoying :) Anyway... Favorite splurge food is chocolate! No supplements Family is an hour away Vacation destination is anywhere out of the NYC metropolis! I love coffee and have a Grande Blonde from Starbucks on…

I'm so sorry to hear this and I'm sending positive thoughts your way! Hugs xx

I bought a nordictrak elliptical when it was on sale at Sears! When I pick my daughter up from daycare she usually needs a nap (around 6 pm) so I hop on the machine then. On the weekend mornings, I'll ask my husband to take the baby out for a walk or with him to get coffee and I'll try to get in a workout then. It makes it…

My daughter is seven months old :) I gained 26 pounds during the pregnancy... No more after the baby was born... Not planning for another one just yet... I'm not looking to really lose weight (I'm honestly very close to having a BMI that's underweight--- that's my body's natural constitution) ... but I would like to…

That's a great idea... Thank you!

I tried fenugreek and it made me smell funny haha. Also made the baby gassy!
