Thank you for sharing! I started the Keto WOE 4 years ago. I lost 85 lbs and was able to stop many medications. However, last year was tough. I moved. I started a new job. My teenaged son decided I was the devil for moving him away from his life long friends and classmates. (That is thankfully much better now.) I had the…

I work in a small office and we had the same thing. However, once my coworkers saw the pounds start dropping from me, and how much better I feel, most of them jumped on the lchf train with me. Customers are still bringing in treats for us, but now I have the support of most of my team to help resist and just put those…

I agree with the others before me. I have suffered from depression, Fibromayalgia, and RA for years. A couple of friends started this way of eating a couple of years ago. I did as much research for myself as I possibly could before deciding to give it a try myself. Within a month I had no more joint or muscle pain. All my…

It's ok, because of the amount of stress I'm under right now. I will get back on track as soon as "insert excuse" is over....

I do the egg rolls in a bowl and add a few peanuts for crunch.

I lost 14 pounds the first week. I lost a total of 50 in 5 months, then another 30 over about the next 10 months. Now with 30 to go, it has slowed down to a crawl.

I've not been as diligent with my diet the last few months, and I can tell the difference! The more carbs I eat, the less energy I have and the more I hurt. So why do I do that to myself? I stalled on my weight loss and just started slacking off. This last week, I'm back, and it was easier than I thought to fall right back…

Welcome to the group! I have been on the keto journey for a little over a year now. I've lost just over 80lbs with another 30 to go. This is by far the easiest thing I have ever done. I'm very thankful for this group and the encouragement given within. I wish you great success!

The comment I get the most is "are you sick?" Yes, I've lost over 80lbs, but still have another 30 to 35 to go. So it's not like I'm sickly thin. People are just rude.

It's a wonderful feeling, isn't it?

Congrats on the 8lbs! I agree on adding salt, potassium, and magnesium. They will kick the keto flu. I haven't tried the miracle noodles but I have tried shirataki noodles. They aren't bad if you rinse them well, however the texture was a bit off putting for me. Congrats again!

I set my macros at 5% carbs, 20% protein, and 75% fat. That equals about 100 grams of fat per day. I put heavy whipping cream in my coffee, I eat fried bacon almost daily. If I fry anything, it's done in bacon grease. I add cheese to almost everything. I began eating this way January 19, 2015. In that time I've lost almost…

Thank you. I needed this reminder today. You look terrific!

My goals are to continue this WOE, lose another 35 lbs, and to look for the positive in every situation.

Welcome! This group is amazing for support. Glad you joined.

I add salsa to mine!

I also overindulged over the holiday. I feel terrible. My stomach hurts. My head hurts. My face is puffy, and I could barely crawl out of bed this weekend. I just hope I can remember this next time those peanut butter cookies call my name.

Great job!

Awesome!

I buy Zevia too when I find it on sale. Otherwise the La Croix flavored waters are awesome.

Thank you so much! I've yo-yoed my whole life. This is the first time that I feel this WOE is sustainable.

I've been on the Keto WOE since January 19th of this year. I've actually lost a little more since that pic, but I love the side by side comparison. Keeps me going when I feel weak.

Still have a way to go, but making steady progress.

@Fin1965 I have bloodwork done every 3 months. 11 months into eating this way, my numbers just keep improving. However, every single person is different. Different foods affect each one of us in different ways. That being said, I agree that your doctor WORKS for you, not the other way around. If he is not taking the time…

New NSV. I work in a bank in a small town, everyone knows everyone, kind of town. Every year at this time customers start to bring in all kinds of cookies, candies, and fudge for us. I just realized this morning with all the cookies and candy sitting on the breakroom table that I wasn't even tempted. Wow...I'm completely…

I also make up eggs and bacon ahead of time, usually fry both for the following day as I'm making dinner for the evening. There is NO way I would get up early enough to cook anything before work...lol I also have coffee with heavy whipping cream, it really has a way of filling you up and holding you over until lunch time…

@pwrfl1 I am the one dealing with the kids and the ex this year. My family is great and I will probably see them part of the day, but I still have to go home alone. I will probably have the company of a certain Mr. Smirnoff to help me through. I'm working hard to not go totally off plan. I appreciate the positive thoughts…
