I've been drinking Braggs ACV for a year and a half. After my coffee first thing in the morning, I'll mix one full teaspoon w/ 16 oz water . Sometimes I'll do this again in the afternoon. I've lost 29lbs. Then gained 10 back and said "Whoa". About the only thing that works for me is Whitts smoked turkey, SubWay or salads at home. Bread is my killer. I get the Subway oven roasted chicken on italian, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and bell peppers(no dressing). Or the Steak w/ same ingredients. I've been doing this for 7 months. I've tried *almost everything once.

on 9/15, my A1C was6.8. 11/15, was 6.5. 5/16, was 6.4. ( from Dr's visits). Dr said that was better but also to count carbs. My mfp allows me 179 daily carbs. I usually do 100-140 daily. On 9/15, I weighed 221lbs. On 5/16, I weighed 196lbs. I'm working on it and do feel much better. Thanx everyone for the input.

I'm almost 65yr old. male. 9/2015 weighed 221. joined mfp. weighed 192 at Thanksgiving. I blew it. Holidays. I'm struggling to stay below 200 since. Went to Doc yesturday. 196lbs. I have to count carbs now. That's a little complicated.

you can build a meal by entering you own foods into your daily food menus. you can then see what nutrients are there. if you like it, cook it. if not, simply delete it. i found this helpful with me.

very good reading. thanks all for the support. i've lost 23lbs or so. 15 more hopefully to go. i would never have learned to count calories. this site makes it possible.

I eat Fiber 1 lemon bars ( are sooo good ), grapes, Fiber 1 strugal cake etc.

40lbs to lose. 15lbs out of the way now. i havn't lost any in 3 or 4 days. they quit falling off. i'm logging everything on mfp. i cant give up though. no sodas since 8-6. only water. hang in there everyone.

thanks for all the good answers. the 16-4-0-0-3-4 was my mfp food dairy numbers. calories,carbs,fat,protein,sodium,and sugar in that order. the potassium is not counted here. sodium was 0 on reg sugar and also coconut on my mfp. 1 tsp ea. also, the sugar listed calories but zeros on the other listing and i thought reg…

that's my problem. not sure what my 2digit # was but i think 120 was borderline diabetic 1 ??. i've been there for a few visits but last time was over so i want to lose weight and excercise instead of taking meds for that.

welcome maude. i love mfp so far and have lost 15lbs. got 25 to go hopefully. i would have never figured my calories, fat etc out by myself.

i weighed 220(male) on 8-6. doc said lose weight. i've lost 14-15lbs and stopped losing for 3-4 days. im determined.

i was a mt. dew fan. i never could drink a diet or a zero. since aug. 6th i've only have water. we'll see how long that lasts but i'm on a mfp diet and have lost 15lbs so far.
