Wow man - after reading this it definitely sounds like your head is in the right place and you are ready to do this. I have a similar story but wasn't carrying as much weight, I had a health scare that woke me up and I changed my ways and lost nearly 100 lbs in a very short amount of time. I, like you, joined this site and…

I will make this short and sweet and not go into some detailed description of how to FIX him because it isn't going to work ( sorry but this is the cold hard truth ). I was in the same boat - I had a health scare and that is what caused me to change, not because someone told me to, not because I didn't care because I…

Nutri Ninja FTW !!! I have had the smaller options like the Cuisinart and the Nutribullet but the Ninja Auto IQ KILLS the rest of them... if you can get the " kit " that comes with the 2 " personal " cups, the MASSIVE Blender attachment and the medium attachment... I think Costco and Sams both have them for under $150. The…

You probably want to take Vitamin C when taking Iron - it will aid in absorption.
-
Don't overdo it with the Iron supplements - they have a tendency to " back you up " if you know what I mean.

Amazing progress ! You look fantastic ! Congratulations !

Get a juicer and a ton of beets, look for " green " recipes with beets in them...get up, juice, mix in some protein ( if thats your thing ) add a little maca, take a B12 Supplement, Ashwaghanda Root and you will be bouncing off the walls... or if you really want a cheap alternative buy some Caffeine from Amazon... you can…

I don't want to profess to know everything or anything... and like they say opinions are like a holes... everyone has one... so let me tell you what worked for me. A year ago I was T2 Diabetic... the doctor started throwing meds at me... I had a " degenerative disc " problem in my back that would keep me out of work for…

HEY! Screw the HATERS !!! A year ago I was 100lbs. heavier and diagnosed with Diabetes... it isn't going to happen overnight... fight the good fight and you WILL SEE and FEEL the improvement. Two months isn't a whole lot of time but you have time on your side... you are still young and can effect a change on your life,…

Ok... so I'm a guy but HOLY *kitten*! Dude... you got ripped, jacked, shredded! Awesome job... I almost feel like goin out and lifting something heavy but that would be too much work. Seriously - good job, you look amazing.

Patience young grasshopper... these things take time.

When I decided I had enough of the weight and other side effects that I contributed I tried " taper " off by gradually reducing the dose... evidently it is a little more scientific than I thought and evidently my body was a little more dependent on it than I thought... I talked to my doc and we devised a plan to come off…

I was on Wellbutrin and blew up like a balloon! HATED IT! I had NO energy and it certainly didn't help my mood any. I switched to Fluoxatine and it seems to be the right med for me. Regarding one of your statements about " weaning " off - I wouldn't suggest you do it unless you are following doctors orders... I tried…

My goal is to simply get back running in April after a lackluster finish last month... with that being said I will be out of town starting tomorrow through the 11th so once again I have made a brief appearance but I promise to be back.

Ya know there's also a Strava group that's not as overwhelming. Least I don't think it is. But then you'd miss the vampires, retail therapy, cooties, vVO2, running economy, gait analysis, tempo runs, and lactate threshold (-still thinks that's a breast feeding term). Well first , for some reason my " quote " button isn't…

Hey everyone - I don't really remember what I posted as my goal earlier this month and was somewhat bad about posting updates as I am a little overwhelmed by the activity here but with that said I am " friends " with most of you so I am going to TRY to do a better job and get more involved here. I have been " lurking "…

NET CARBS = Total Carbs - Fiber... so if a bowl of cereal has 45 grams of carbs and of those 10 are fiber then your net carbs is 35, your body doesn't digest fiber.

Just get out there and enjoy it! If you have been running for a while or have done this distance before don't even sweat it... just go have fun.

I have taken and continue to take Caffeine supplements. I ordered mine from BB.com and paid about $8.00 for 100 200mg tablets - I do not take them regularly only when I need a little boost for a run or something else... It could all be in my head but I do feel more alert and awake after I have taken one... the only…

Ok... I gotta be honest... I signed up for this challenge and have been tracking my runs just not posting them... I am a little intimidated by the number of posts on this thread... Anyhow... to date I have done 61.3 miles.
