6 bottles seems like too much (assuming they are 16oz bottles). Also maybe on top of the water you are also drinking coffee/tea which would add to your liquid intake. For me personally 4 bottles is enough water and at the same time doesn't make me pee too much. If I go below 4, I get a bunch of issues so I try to keep it…

Unfortunately a GI isn't always helpful with identifying digestive sensitivities. Always important to see GI first to rule out what they can, but the rest is up to us to figure out.

I am sure you have fussed the same about her :)

I guess it depends on your relationship with your parents. If you have in the past had conversations about weight loss, health concerns, and diet changes then I don't see what is wrong with guiding them or motivating them. Especially since OP stated the parents do have some interest in it since they read books about it. It…

great show, I wish it never ended

Print out/write out very simple recipes for them to make. Basic things, even for salads write out what to put in it. Make a weekly meal plan for them that includes these recipes and what type of snacks they should have. If it is all laid out in front of them, might be easier to follow. They can still go out to eat…

Think going to get this one. The memory feature is a really good idea. Do you know if this is the only HRM with this type of feature? Never seen it on any others. Also do you find the wrap comfortable, any issues with it sliding off? Thanks for the help.

Never heard of it but you are right that does look much smaller. Going to look into all these suggestions. Thanks :)

I am not celiac but have sensitivity. I eat the same gf oatmeal all the time and feel fine on them. But a lot of people on here have said some can react to gf oatmeal for some reason, especially with celiac. Not sure if accurate but I guess be careful.

I think it would be hard to strap the watch somewhere on my clothes. The class includes some work outs other than boxing and they involve doing exercises on the mat.. some require to lay on back, stomach, and side. I cant imagine that being comfortable with a bulky watch attached. @scubasteve1962 sorry I am a little…

I guess I missed those episodes, the ones I remember seeing is him teaching which foods are good for particular conditions. Or which foods are good to add to diet/replace with.

I dont know why people hate on him, he seems to just want to help and offer people natural ways to improve their health. I dont think I ever heard him give advice that could be dangerous to someones health, or heard him say not to follow their dr's advice first. I only watch him once in a while, so maybe I missed something.

Wondering this also

@Luvee_Dove5 I followed your link from another post onto here. How do you take this test? Can it be done at Drs office?

I really like matzoh kugels, pretty easy to make. Google recipes theres so many. Not sure though if gf matzoh would work for this.
-
They sell gluten free matzah as well, might be hard to find but it's around, especially during holidays. Love regular matzah but have low tolerance with gluten.

Mood swings, forgot about this one. While I was on pills, I would have like random crying spells. Anything that would upset me would make me cry so much. Without them I am not like this at all lol.

I took mine for a short period maybe a year. My issue with it isn't so much that I gained weight, but that it made me bloated and changed my body shape. Like instead of nice curves all you saw is bloating everywhere.

I noticed in your profile you stated you never used a food scale. It is really easy to incorrectly estimate food (especially when it comes to carbs), you may have been eating more than 1700 cals. Also says you have a cheat day once a week, which I feel like that would average out your calories higher than 1700 a day. You…

I don't do well with gluten also so I avoid it. Lots of things give me acid reflex but rice has never been one of them. Are you sure it is rice and not maybe some additive in foods made out of rice? Maybe if you cook plain rice you won't have that problem? I guess it is different for everyone, bananas give me reflex which…

If you don't mind me asking, how come you didn't like it and which HRM did you replace it with. I also had a fitbit and returned it. Mine gave me a weird reaction on my wrist.
-
Yep I know that feeling. Can't figure out what it is because there are some weeks when I am absolutely fine with my energy. How many calories are you eating ?
-
That is interesting, thanks for sharing that.. I always thought mono is something very obvious because you get a really bad cold. Will mention it to my Dr when I go for a follow up. I have heard of sleep apnea, it is a good suggestion but don't think it is the problem. I think it is more common when a person is over a…

Thanks for the advice. I am not on a low calorie diet, but agree upping my calories might help. Ive tried before the whole eating at tdee thing and used a fitbit, but the amount of calories it was telling me to eat was making me feel so stuffed and causing digestive issues (have a sensitive stomach). I also find it hard to…

I know what you mean, I usually also get more energized when a good song comes on. Or I make myself stay on the treadmill longer by putting on a favorite song.

Strength training is one of the classes offered at my gym, so I do take it once in a while. My goal is to lose 30 pounds. I could probably use a little bit more strength training.
-
Also in the past I always felt like exercising actually increased my energy in general.

Thank you all for your input. I don't really want to open up my diary because it could be a little confusing, I quick add a lot of calories because I have so many things memorized by now (need to stop doing this though). I never go below 1600 and sometimes can go up to 2000 calories, but I mostly try to keep it at…
