Smart idea. I could see that working. Going to try as well

Haha yea I was just thinking I've never seen anyone in my class wearing them. Just checked out nerdwax that is such a good idea and I like that it's natural. Might give it a try as well.

I have the same problem whenever I run out of contacts and forget to reorder. I end up having to skip the gym. Does the strap really work? I take kickboxing as well and the warms ups require a lot of jumping, pushups, etc. Will they stay on for all of that ?

I brought it up because someone else (not you) advised the op to eat frozen meals on a daily basis for all their meals. There are frozen sandwiches, lean cuisine makes paninis not sure if those particular ones are preservative free, theres also frozen breakfast sandwiches with sausages, etc. I connected frozen meals with…

Good point.

Its not just bacon and steak. Its cold cuts as well which is easily affordable and some eat on a daily basis. The suggestion on here was that eating frozen meals on a daily basis for your meals is okay, that doesnt seem like moderation to me. But I agree once in a while is fine, I dont plan to totally eliminating those…

It was all over the news, google it you will find a lot of articles. They linked processed meats (which contain perservatives) with cancer and other health conditions. The thing about health is that it doesnt always happen gradually. People dont always get a heads up that their health/life might be at risk tomorrow. Some…

By the way regarding frozen meals. There was a recent report about how cold cuts, bacon, etc are linked to higher risk of cancer. The link is due to the perservative and processing of the meat. So not all perservatives are ok. I can understand that some people dont have a choice and need to rely on frozen meals, but it is…

I hate cooking too but little by little I learned to make simple things. I now cook my meals in advance for the whole week so that I can just do it all at once and get it over with. Like you when I am tired or busy I wont have patience to prep anything and will get take out. I do the following: For protein: grilled chicken…

There's some people that say you should just drink when you are thirsty but I find it important to make sure I get adequate water otherwise my digestive system gets really sluggish and sometimes I feel tired in general (sorry for TMI). For me feeling thirsty doesn't help me determine how much water my body really needs. So…

I hate to admit it but I am one of those people. I am not very active on my profile and I rarely comment or like friends statuses. I do however log daily whether I am keeping up with my diet or failing. The reason I add friends is if I notice in the forums they have something in common with me. I like to see other peoples…

I had this happen before, jammed my toes in between a doorway. I literally couldn't walk at all for about 2 days, was hopping around on 1 foot inside my house if I really needed to go somewhere. I got scared so hopped my way into a car and went to Dr but it turned out to be nothing but a very bruised toe. Felt…

Love thai food, usually if I get pad thai or the flat spicy noodles (forgot what its called) I only eat half because they have so many calories and I am usually stuffed anyway half way through. Take the other half home :)

It wasnt an effort for you, but quitting smoking or energy drinks could he a big deal for someone else. Quitting smoking for me was a breeze but I know many who really struggled for years.

I think its okay to call it an addiction. An addiction could be many things. Theres many things people could be addicted to that dont fall under drugs or alcohol but are still potentially a danger to them. I think anything that a person has hard time controlling or stopping classifies as addiction. Sometimes looking at…

Many things can increase cortisol. If someone's cortisol is already elevated then I imagine drinking caffeine could cause some issues.

I suspected that was the cause of my side effects, but had lab test done and mine was at a normal level.

@kshama2001 I see they make teeccino in tea bag form or you can buy them in ground form. Which one did you like better?
-
Do you like the taste of teeccino? Does it taste similar to coffee or totally different taste?
-
The caffeine difference between espresso drinks and coffee is miniscule, at least in starbucks drinks (I usually drink americanos). But you are right there is something different about espressos if I drink an americano my side effects are not as intense as with regular coffee. I am also aware that decaf has a little bit of…

Realized it after someone else mentioned it. Interesting how these posts randomly get brought up again, but great that it did. I like reading others schedules and comparing it to my own.

How do you get yourself to wake up without an alarm? What time do you go to sleep? Trying to get myself to wake up around that time but can't do it even with an alarm.

Isn't weight watchers just a system of points for different food items? It seems like this is similar to counting calories? Use MFP to log your calories and buy a food scale to measure all your food. When I first started using MFP I didn't have a food scale and was estimating everything which I learned later I was really…

You definitely did the right thing. Why would you waste your time and money just to be nice to a trainer who isn't being courteous or professional.

I've been thinking of trying caffeine tablets to see how I react to them. Just wasn't sure if that is a safe alternative. Tea gives me similar side effects but on a lesser level. I've tried herbal teas but my taste buds realize they are being tricked. It sucks I would do anything to be able to drink coffee again lol. I…

No you aren't missing anything major, you are just lucky to be able to benefit from it without any side effects.

If you aren;t quitting for health reasons, then why don't you just reset your caffeine tolerance every once in a while. Now that you haven't drank it in a while you can probably get energy boost from just drinking half caff. I went from drinking a lot of caffeine all day long to 0. And I haven't drank caffeine in so long…

Personally for me, I don't think caffeine agrees with me. I've seen health improvements after quitting and feel like I can think clearer. I know this doesn't apply to everyone, and I am very envious of those who don't have any negative side effects with caffeine. I have a weird relationship with coffee, love the taste,…

Looking for the same thing also for energy and I am just used to the habit of having something warm to sip on. I've quit coffee about 10 times now and I always end up going back to it. I am trying to stick to decaf now but ideally would like to not drink coffee at all, haven't found a good enough replacement yet.
