Oh I like these ideas, I actually just joined our YMCA and will start off with water aerobics. I just can't do the gym machines - I get so bored after 1 or 2 weeks. Our house is super tiny too so I don't think we'd have room for a machine in our house. Oh...maybe I could jump rope in front of the tv! :wink:

Maybe you are not really stomach hungry. More bored/stress/lonely etc. If you distract yourself for 10 minutes does the hunger go away. Are you denying yourself foods that you love? These are for sure my triggers!

I like the water idea and brushing teeth! I definitely am not stopping myself from eating anything I like. But once I eat simple carbs I have a REALLY hard time with stopping and portion control. And most of the time when I'm having a craving I'm not hungry at all. I want to stop eating when I'm not hungry. Those cravings…

Therapy. Read Feeding the Hungry Heart. Be kind to yourself. Start one small goal - this might be just going outside for 10 min a day or taking a pottery class. Prioritize what YOU need, now.
