Beautiful 4 mile run at one of the county parks this morning. It's starting to get hot here. The 15 day forecast is all 70s/80s. Thankfully the park I ran at was well shaded. It was a very nice run.

4.3 miles done. It was rough, because it's hot out, and I really had to go to the bathroom. Ha! It happens, right?

Thanks for all the hugs, prayers, and good thoughts for my dad. His surgery went great. No run for me today, I'm going to get some strength training and yoga in, though.

2.5 miles this morning. Had to destress. My dad is having surgery this morning to remove a cancerous tumor from his small bowel. If you're the praying type, please send a prayer up for him.

2.7 mile run today with a 30 lb preschooler in the stroller. That made it tough. I try not to run with them, because it's hard! It was also a lot warmer out than I thought. Whew! I got it done, though.

Here's my updated mileage for the weekend. I'm taking a few days off to rest.

So I think things went pretty well on my 10k today, considering I'm not quite done with my c25k plan. My legs are sore, though. I ran most of it, with a few walking breaks. All of my splits were under 12 minutes, and a couple were under 11. Whoot! I'll update my tracker later.

@PastorVincent I like that plan too. I haven't run a full 10k in awhile, but I'm feeling pretty strong. I think I can run a good portion of it. It's a pretty easy course. I'll let you guys know how it goes tomorrow!

2.1 miles done in the mountains. It was tough! I admire anyone who lives in the mountains and runs these hills everyday! It was not an easy run, but I did it!

I'm continuing to get stronger everyday with running, but I still want to be kind of conservative with my goal. I'm a fairly new runner, so I'm going for 30 miles this months. Got 2.7 in today. Off to a good start for April!

I made it to my March goal! 2.8 miles this morning, and it was a beautiful morning to run...45° and a big, beautiful moon to follow. Under 12 min/mile average pace. What running app does everyone use? I've always used runkeeper, but is there a better app out there?

Just under 3 miles today, and I was under a 12 min/mile pace when I was running. Almost to my March goal. Feeling good!

Anyone know why my ticker is only showing 4 miles? It should say 6 miles. The image when I copy the URL is 6, and that's what I have in the current cumulative value box.
