Synchkat thought you had a heart. I said I might do you, if I were a cougar...but I'm not. Just wanted the credit for that one, since you seem so clever. :)

I love that recipe...and so do my dogs! Rolled oats + peanut butter, yum!

Yep. Already do. And I still have 30+ lbs to go. I think it's a state of mind...the smaller I get, the better I look, the more confident I become...plus it helps that at each new size I've indulged by buying some new clothes. Tighter clothes on a smaller body = twice the reaction. Totally motivating.

I think the problem is sugar/carb addiction. If you start on Monday avoiding sugars and carbs (try the belly fat cure diet, or variation of same - proteins and vegetables, cottage cheese, nuts, avocados, etc) after 4-5 days (right when the weekend hits!) you'll notice your willpower to resist the sweets is much higher. At…

Wouldn't date you. Might do you though. If I were a cougar. Which I'm not. So I guess the answer is no. :-/ Dang.

Blueberries are my favorite. Don't squish, just put in your mouth and enjoy. :)

Yep, aggressive is good :)

I love straight, white teeth. Also love when a man takes the time to be clean and smell nice. I can overlook physical imperfections (I'm hardly perfect) but those two things are within his control. Shows he cares about himself (plus straight teeth make anyone's face more beautiful, I think).

I love gaming, SciFi/Fantasy, read the Song of Ice & Fire before it became a TV show, re-reading the Wheel of Time (on book 4 right now), have to admit I've made some of my best friends on WoW (and we visit in person!), and love Marvel (DC is good too but Marvel has my heart). Add me if you need more geek friends :)

As others have stated...you look hot. Keep it up. :)

Me too! Will send a friend request :)

This resonated with me! I was exactly like you, then just threw myself at it and it's miraculous...like finding Jesus, indeed. :-) 10 lbs down in 2 months, trimmed 2 inches off my hips, and down a size. I am getting there!

Others have great suggestions. I like the planning and working out more. What I do also is "treat" myself to visiting a specialty grocery store early on Saturday morning...over here we have Trader Joe's, and I love it. They open at 8am, so I get there and buy lots of delicious foods for the week, and splurge on things like…

Trader Joe's sells it frozen, it's great: http://www.traderjoes.com/digin/post/organic-riced-cauliflower

I've done this for years and frankly I'm tired of the pattern. I think the issue is that we think of food as "bad" or "good" instead of just "food". Track everything no matter what. See the patterns...Then alter them. Make better choices. And I think we all might be a little guilty of thinking of food as a reward....that…

I've been banded since 2009. Lost 50 lbs thus far, need to lose 30 more...it's a tool, but not that hard to find ways around it...ahem (ice cream).

Sorry I'm late to this convo, just joined MVP last week and I'm curious how other banders are doing. Debbie your story sounds a lot like mine, I have issues with food not going down and sometimes throwing up. I've had my band since 2009 and it's helped me lose 50 lbs and keep it off, I had just been slow to lose more since…

Hi everyone. I had lapband 6 years ago at a high of 225 lbs. I've lost 50 lbs, and kept it off...of course, I need to lose more. I am very silly and continued to (and still do sometimes) find ways to "bypass the band"...meaning, ice cream (slides right through), soups, etc. The biggest benefit of the band is that once the…

My recipe requires a ceramic frying pan, the kind that can be put in the oven. I got it from this book: The Frugal Paleo Cookbook: Affordable, Easy & Delicious Paleo Cooking Paperback – December 2, 2014 by Ciarra Hannah http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1624140882?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00 Oven at…
