Any Lap Band Patients here...still need monitoring and support!

    I'm VSG here. There is a support group on MFP but I can't link when I am on my phone.

    I had my surgery a year ago and I was just discharged last month. Does the clinic you had your surgery from offer continued support? From what I hear, the lap band needs regular adjustment.

    I had the lap band in 07 and changed to the sleeve in 2010.

    I haven't had any surgery but wanted to chime in and say hello anyway and to let you know to search the group section . I've seen several groups on here for WLS patients that offer support and information to one another. So checking out some of the private groups might be a good way for you to find other members that are in your same situation.

    I had my surg in 2004....have done well ....but have to have the fluid out for 2 mo.....scary deal...back on a diet...;-(

    I've been banded since 2009. Lost 50 lbs thus far, need to lose 30 more...it's a tool, but not that hard to find ways around it...ahem (ice cream).
