Might I also suggest the lifting. Lifting smaller weights in more repetitions can definitely lead to "soft fats" toning up! Good luck!!

Thank you for asking this question because it's honestly a great one! And thanks to everyone for their answers! I also have asthma (exercised induced) and have struggles with cardio and breathing. The only advice I can honestly give is to control your breathing at all times. Deep breaths in and slow breaths out, I've…

Persistence. And don't forget to take a step back and admire all the hard work you've done! Good luck!!

My advice: don't wait until tomorrow. Do it now. A lot of people wait until tomorrow and "tomorrow" never comes for them. And stick with it. Even if you can get a buddy to walk your journey with you, just someone to keep you accountable, just anything you can do to stay on track and stay focused. Good luck!

My tip on staying away from junk food: Don't buy it. I know it sounds like a smart-@$$ but it's true. If you don't have it to eat it, you won't be tempted. Other tip is to eat often and keep [healthy] snacks around so instead of snacking on a cookie or a hoho, you can snack on something like a granola bar or banana. My tip…

I do it once a week. It's highly suggested to do it the same day and same time for the best results. As well as, pay attention to what rituals you have. Ex: After going to the bathroom, before eating, naked before a shower... All things that'll factor in.

I actually use my profile picture for my before and after progress.

I envy you. Not only do I find protein bars completely tasteless and unsatisfying. But I also find them to start to add up cost wise and between the protein shakes, vitamins and gym membership and so on... I can't afford it! However I have seen them sold in boxes at GNC and the gym. Good luck!

Completely inspirational words to anyone, new and starting out or has been working at it for years! I'm proud of you! Good work! Keep it up and thanks for sharing your story!

I would be more than happy to help inspire you! I think my before and after photo should prove my dedication. But I still have some ways to go! Good luck!

I know exactly how you feel and am having a very similar problem. However, I'm scheduled graveyards. Basically, I can jmagine, that you just plan your means just like everyone else would only the times would be different. Just remember, small meals more frequently.

I started with T-25 which worked our every part of my body! I also did the 30 day challenges! Good luck to you!!

Good luck to you!

I'd say that the two best habits to have are stretching every morning (to keep you physically alert and gives a great boost of energy.) The second habit to have is eating healthy and making proper nutrition decisions. Good luck!

Glad to hear you have a great goal! It's definitely possible, I've lost my 34lbs in a year! Definitely work on maintaining your weight once you've reached your goal remember, it's a life style change... Not a diet Good luck to you!

Good! Keep on keeping on!

I'll be happy to help support you!

@Mindfulllyjo - What exactly do you suggest for these "slow release energy foods"? @star whisperer6 - most protein bars taste horrible, do you have any suggestions for better-tasting ones? Thanks all for advice BTW!

To be honest, the funniest comment about losing weight wasn't said to me but by me. It was, "I miss my fat" in regards to how cold I get in the winter time. I never realized how warm my fat kept me until I lost it, haha!
-
Congrats on your progress. Chin up! What your doing is working towards a healthier and better version of you!! Good luck!!!
-
Welcome! One thing that you should totally start is by simply not referring to this as a "diet" rather than a "life change". Once you start this you can't go back or else you'll gain all the weight back as well. Trust me, I know!!

I'll be happy to help motivate you!

Good luck!
