Check your hydration levels as well. If your pee is still yellowish in the afternoon / evening you may be dehydrated. I experience the same issue and found that my legs recover much faster after exercising if I make sure to pound the water.

Well there is the good old peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's not exactly low calorie but the peanut butter has a fair amount of protein and good fat.

Honestly, it's mostly math that makes you lose weight. To lose weight you need to be burning more calories than you're consuming. Are you tracking your calories? How many are you eating?

The pain is pretty common and normalish for a lot of people. If the pain doesn't go away after a couple of weeks, then I'd recommend getting new shoes. Go to a fancy sports store where they actually watch how you run / walk and recommend specific shoes for you.

Likes to pass people on a running trail and then immediately slow down. Annoying people is what he does to stay entertained during runs.

If you have an office job, ask if it would be possible for you to get a standing desk, or perhaps an adjustable desk. With one of those you're on your feet all day which is burning more calories and is way better for your back. You can also then walk in place, do mini squats etc.

100 calories seems like it would be way too high of an estimate, unless you're like jogging around the car every few minutes. Just my opinion though.
