246. Slower loss, still working hard, but my nutrition has been a little sub par 247. A few summer drinks, a few extra meals out, over my calories.

I can gain upwards of 12 pounds (water, of course) over a few days, if, as stated above, it's the perfect storm of increased carbs, alcohol, eating out sodium, hormones, long travel and heat. It usually balances out in half a week.

"recovering health" is a pretty solid goal. I too am doing this and building muscle as my alternate goal, and I likewise will not be entering any beauty contests lol.

Thank you very much for your prompt response. I will continue lifting heavy at a calorie deficit until I get to a lower weight, it just seems so slow for my muscles to get bigger, although since I have been on a heavier lifting program it is happening faster. Hi there. I have lost 107 pounds since fall eating clean nutrition calorie counting and exercising. I am at my lowest weight in ten years (248) and hope to achieve 199 by the end of the year.

Great success! I am at 254 so down 45 for the year. Half way mark is the end of June, so I hope I get down to the 50 pound mark by then. Down 100 pounds overall!
