Hi! Don't despair! I have lost 130 pounds over a year and a half (and gained/lost a couple of times before that), am near 40, and with weight lifting and very healthy eating/hydration, it isn't awful. I won't ever be a swimsuit model, but I look good in longer shorts and a t shirt. I also suspect it will shrink up a bit…

Thanks for all of the great input! I am thinking I will try to maintain (I am haha!) for a few more weeks and then slowly drop calories down as suggested!

It was at about the 50 pound lost mark that some folks started to notice, and by 60-70 pounds lost everyone noticed. Because you are quite a bit smaller, I would expect that you will notice…

Thank you so much, Ann, for your response. I think you could possibly have nailed something there with the NEAT possibly not being the same, as winter here has been cold and I havent been walking to errands and things of that nature, and in consideration, even my cardio dropped off for the months of december and january,…

Thank you, Timothy, and fair enough. I have seen info such as that, and that even in a given food, the caloric amounts can be off by 20% or more. I suppose the end result is the same, lower the calories and see the weight go down. Just an update that I did my measurements again, and have lost some small degree of inches,…

Thank you so much for the detailed reply! In answer: I have made quite a few changes to my workouts since 2015, adding heavier lifting and more intense lifting, also much harder cardio aspects. I am 37. The 2000 calories is actually what I consume. I had been seeing pretty good strength increases, but that has kind of…
