Leg press and squat are completely different man. I can leg press around 850 for reps, but my squat is tapping out at 275 for 5 reps. Deep squats (*kitten* to grass) will put a little more strain on your hips especially so with more added weight. I would recommend getting form down before jumping weight, then slowly…

My motivation is actually a double edged sword. It's the fact that I've never truly accepted my appearance. So in a sense I am always going to strive to be the best version of myself, but at the same time I am absolutely overly critical about my appearance and progress.

Hey there! I am in the exact same boat. I workout like crazy but I always fall short on the diet aspect of this healthy lifestyle. I just can't seem to say no lol

Woohoo! I'm also looking for some fellow lifters I'm rather new to MFP so I'm still working my way around everything though, but feel free to add me!

You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for the great advice! I guess it doesn't help that I'm my own worst critic when it comes to my physique and diet.
-
That is so awesome! Honestly, part of my motivation is getting fit enough to cosplay as a superhero lol. Kinda dorky I knoww

Hey there! Welcome to the MFP community! I'm glad you're choosing to take control and honestly, I can't think of a better place to start than this. So good luck, and feel free to add me :)

Hey! Welcome to the MFP community! I'm pretty new here too so feel free to add me. Quick question, do you do like cosplay type of stuff?
-
Hey there! I'm rather new to the MFP community so all the motivation I can get I'll take.

Hey! I know exactly how you feel about not being motivated. I'm actually in the same boat and am too looking for like minded people to help keep on track. So feel free to add me and we can tackle this monster journey together!
