Hi guys, I'm new as well. I'm on day 5. (Wow, already!) I think I'm doing OK, but I don't know for sure. I went up two pounds after a couple of days. That's disheartning, but maybe it's just water or food. I've been good with keto, but not great. For example, I had a low-carb salad (bagged salad) for three of the days, but…

In 2009/2010, I lost 70 pounds on WW Online. (I don't do well with meeting-style support, so online was ideal for me.) I was WW's biggest champion. Even now, I feel that it works for some people, though I can't speak to their newest update, which sounds very restrictive. I have a food addiction that I must be diligent…

I'm definitely losing for the holidays. It's my gift to myself. I'm in!

Hi. :)

I'm 5'8" and my goal is 160 lbs. I've been there, and it's my ideal appearance.

Yeah, you aren't motivated to go to work every morning, right? You go to work because you are committed to paying your bills. Don't try to rely on motivation. It wouldn't always be there. You have to rely on your commitment to a healthy lifestyle. It's not easy, but make it a habit like brushing your teeth every morning.

Thanks! :)

It's not easy, thats for sure. As someone above said, it's easier if you date people with similar fitness goals. I can easily get sabotaged by someone with no fitness goals.

Water helps me. Also, I just keep an awareness of when my next meal is. It's a matter of telling my internal petulant child, "You can wait!"

I've mastered going to bed hungry. There's nothing wrong with it. It's the best way to beat the late-night munchies, IMO.

The one in my basement. :D

Listen, you have to commit to it. Commit to it like you commit to bathing and going to work. Do you always want to? Heck no! But, you do it anyway. This has to be just like that.

Good post. There is so much of this process that's mental. The past year has seen many false starts for me. I wasn't truly ready, and I didn't want it bad enough. I'm there now.

That doesn't usually work out well for me. I am more successful under a strict plan.

Goodness, yes! It's usually a really tough time for me. Actually, yesterday started my pre-TOM week, which is my I must have all the food!! week. I'm determined to not give in, though. I'm putting my energy into working out extra hard this week and next week, the period week. I'm going to try to burn off enough to…
