Sent you a friend request! I recently put like 15 lbs back on and am finding it hard to get back in the swing of things. I find myself every day saying to myself "ehh what's one more day of skipping the gym I'll start back up tomorrow" or "I'll eat pizza but tomorrow will get my eating back on track" buuut of course…

Cut my calories down to 1600 a day. Started jogging 4-5 times a week. Also cut out all soda and sugary drinks and it has worked well

Welcome!

Lol good point I should have clarified. I typically drink 2 coffees a day, and usually use about 3 servings which is 120 calories. So it's not anything insanely crazy. I was just thinking it's calories and fat that probably wouldn't bad to lose

I learned after about 10 years to stop trying the lose weight fast programs or 7 day or 14 day detox etc...weight loss and sustaining it is a life long precess, I finally realized I had to exercise and eat better as a way of life for good.

Thanks MFP peeps! Live the support aspect of this app!

I am personally loving every time someone tells me I've lost weight! Although in the back of my mind I'm like "wow I guess I was a lot bigger than I thought" but all in all it helps me stay motivated knowing that the results are showing! I say embrace it!

Thanks everyone! I realize now that this was kind of a silly question as its pretty much common sense, wear layers, gloves sound like a smart idea. Haha but I appreciate all the input!

The breathing was the worst. But everyone has mentioned great things! I feel kinda silly actually cuz its just common sense to wear layers lol but I like to hear other people's input

I just noticed in the settings it still had my weight at 247, and now I'm 208, maybe that was a factor
-
Thanks everybody, yeah I mean if I run 2 miles in 20 minutes it'll usually tell me I've burned close to 600, maybe I'll just cut it in half and go with that?
-
Thank you!

Yeah just keep it up! That's all we can do! I started seriously about 4 months ago, lost about 40 pounds in 3 months but now it's getting harder...it's true it does tend to drop off quicker in the beginning so the key is that once the weight loss slows down, you gotta just stick with the good habits and be patient. Don't…

Definitely agree. I've always done quick diets, or weeks of juicing, then would go back to old habits. I've finally realized that my eating better and exercising is my new way of life and will be going forward. It's definitely a full on lifestyle change required to lose weight and keep it off.
-
Just keep going and be patient and it'll happen, just can't get discouraged, I know we all want the weight to drop faster than it will but it will if you keep it up!

Yeah I can't believe I waited this long before checking out this community stuff it's great!

I started eating better and working out about 4 months ago, Its been working well, I cut out sugar from my coffee and stopped all sodas/fruit drinks , basically all water, or propel water. Started with walking 4 to 5 nights a week and now I'm up to running 2 miles 4 to 5 times a week. I mean it is tough but honestly it…

Awesome man, congrats on quitting smoking, I need to quit myself! I've been running and eating better for about 3 and a half months and I'm down 40 pounds. It is possible, just gotta stick with it which is something I've never done in the last 10 years. But this app is awesome. I really feel like my fitness pal has helped…
