hey everyone ,
My name is Bobby and i live on long island in NY.The first day of my new fitness and weight loss life starts today.I have struggled most of my life with weight.I have been avid weightlifter for years but who cares how strong you are when you are tipping the scales at 300pds and look horrible with my shirt off.I need to take off this weight off for myself ,my beautiful wife and the light of my life my daughter. We all know what a struggle this is.And the only thing that works is WillPOWER..I am over a week into quitting smoking and am starting to feel better already.I am going to keep my calories at about 1500-2000 a day.I will weight train 3-4 days week and TRY TO DO CARDIO ALSO.I am very active person..I have two very physical jobs that help but i think my body has adapted to them after all these years.Weighed in this morning at 297pds...I will post some pics and weigh in every monday .If anyone has any tips i am a sponge for knowledge ...If anyone has questions about starting a weightlifting regime ,feel free to ask.Been trying for over 20yrs with some of the best in the business. My problem is that i just that i eat way too much.

Awesome man, congrats on quitting smoking, I need to quit myself! I've been running and eating better for about 3 and a half months and I'm down 40 pounds. It is possible, just gotta stick with it which is something I've never done in the last 10 years. But this app is awesome. I really feel like my fitness pal has helped me a lot, really helps me stay on track. And these forums are great for support too. Because when no one else at work or in your life is trying to lose wight it's hard to talk to them about it all the time. Anyways, I liked your story and wanted to say good luck!0

The best way I have lost weight is low carb and high fat. It really works for me. You have to keep an eye though because if you creep back up with the carbs that undoes the good!! I lost over a stone at the beginning of the year then kinda lost my way and am now back on it!!!! Good luck x0
