All suggestions above are great. I would add that you should look for lower-calorie recipes for some of the faves of the household and try them one at a time to see if they like them. If they do and cannot tell the difference, then that becomes the staple recipe for that dish (then give it a little bit of time and try for…

What worked for me today was doing a walk/dance workout instead of the second HIIT workout I had planned since I was not feeling the first workout. :) This helped me complete my step goal for the day and feel happy as well. ;)

As of this morning, I've lost 'the amount of trash you throw away in a month' + 'an average human brain 🧠'.

My latest one "Wow!! You lost weight!! How did you do it? I tell her and she says there is no way you did that and it worked!!" My answer: "Yes, I did that, it did work and you can too if you want to; especially with a great support system". This same person, then says, "Oh there are snacks out there. You can't have that…

@jeepkat1 Welcome. Sounds like you are off to a great start. I would say listen to your body and if you still feel hungry after the 1050 calories, then eat more, but, if not, do not push it. @JNettie73 Awesome job!! Looking great!! @sandielewis2001 Congrats on the loss and enjoy your staycation!! @KeriA HI!! Long time!!…

@JuneyCleaves Thank you!! It wasn't easy at first. I used to take 50+ minutes to do the 25 minutes workout with a lot of pausing the videos etc. I still follow Tanya for the modified versions. You can try one of his more dancing ones (Hip Hop Abs) or just any others and definitely modify to your comfort level.

@strong_and_healthy4me Sorry for the injury and the experience. I agree with the words of wisdom already posted above. Move at your own pace, listen to your body, workout at home or do the water aerobics for now if that feels more comfortable for you and when you feel ready (heart, body and mind) go back to the gym and try…

Garmin fixed my steps from when my vivofit got damaged and had to be replaced. They added those 4 days back in and so my full goals met is back to what it is supposed to be!! 😁😀 I'm on my way to getting 240 days! I probably shouldn't be this excited, but I am! 😏

@RavenStCloud Thank you for the thread!!! @wanderinglight Not letting setbacks discourage you is very inspiring and a win in of itself. Keep up the great work. Some of these replies may be late. I started typing them last weekend and then forgot to post it. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ @sandielewis2001 My main treat was a spa day (I love self care, so massages, facial and mani/pedi). @goal06082021 was right, I needed new bras (workout and regular/outing bras) and so got some as well.
