I never said that people who eat meat do not eat veggies. And some people cannot eat potatoes. Especially those with diabetes. None of those links were blog posts. The were written by people with PhDs on the subject. Or are you going to claim you know more than a Harvard university professor and doctor? I've kept my end…

Processed food is anything that is not a whole food. Something that has been mixed with other ingredients and marketed in boxes cans or bags, for buyer conveniences. Tyson bagged chicken nuggets is a processed food. Fresh cut chicken from the deli or butcher is not. McDonald's hamburgers are a highly processed junk food,…

It definitely mentions processed foods like white flours and meats. I read every single line. Apparently you just skimmed over.

I also find it sad that you do not know the health concerns about people eating processed and fast foods. I guess the obesity crises and all these people getting diabetes. Is just happening, and your health is totally not related to the kinds of food you eat. http://www.news-medical.net/health/Obesity-and-Fast-Food.aspx.…

Yes and I was ok with being wrong. I never pressed the point. But you keep nitpicking at it because of some superiority complex that won't let you stop harassing people.

Yes somebody asked me "what did they say unhealthy carbs were" so I told them. Oh So you are offended about me not eating meat? I'm sorry but if not eating meat and processed foods makes me closed minded, then so be it. To try and use that against me is absurd considering that I'm talking about being open to learn more…

I never stated my opinion as fact. I simply stated what I thus far knew about carbs and was completely open to learning more information about them. And stated that I did not know a lot about them asides from that. I never argued what I knew or said I was right. I assumed that some people felt attacked due to the rude…

I'm not the one that knows all the medical terms or the science behind it. I simply have a list I got from the doctor last week about various kinds of diets, carbs, fats etc. the carb information is on there. I googled it and it said it was right so I don't know what's going on. Someone asked me what they were so I…

Unhealthy carbs are dried fruit, cereals, crackers, cakes, flours, jams, preserves, bread products, and potato products. What would be a healthy source of good fat? Some people are at risk of gout which can be caused by low carb and high protein diets. Plus I'm not wanting to increase my meat intake. So I'd rather replace…

Aw dang. I wonder why people say juices keep you full then if that's not the case. I'm not too sure what carbs are. But I learned that there are healthy and unhealthy carbs. All the ones I am in taking are healthy, so vegetables, legumes/beans, whole grains, fruits, nuts, and yogurt . If I cut those out wouldn't I be…

I know you can get many proteins and essential fats from dark vegetables and beans and healthy oils like virgin coconut oil. This is where I get mine from as meat consists for less than 10% of my calorie intake. So do you guys think that drinking homemade, natural fruit and vegetable juices maybe once or twice a day to…

Man I didn't think weigh loss could have such a complicated science behind it lmao. And I typically drink maybe twice a month. It really depends on how I feel or if we have company on the weekends. I typically drink 3-5 drinks which consist of various juices and liquors and club sodas.

No I use liquid and dry measuring cups. Will look at a food scale this Friday. Nothing I buy at the store had grams on it. Serving sizes are all in cups and ounces so I wouldn't be sure how to count grams.

I definitely have to find something to calculate my drinks. They change depending on my mood from fancy mixed drinks, to vodka and pop. I make my own usually. Hard liquor is the only kind I drink so I'm safe from ales and lagers. What 3500 over a week? But isn't that only 500 a day? How am I supposed to do that? I'd go…

I'll be sure to do some research and see if I can try that. Probably the only diet plan I haven't heard of. Thank you.

Pretty sure I'm not sleep eating. My bf is a light sleeper and doesn't notice me get out of bed often nor do we have food missing in the mornings. I know my father used to sleep eat and sleep walk. He'd make a mess and wake everyone in the house up doing it as well.
-
I'll definitely try some of these though. Perhaps I'll try to increase exercise again as well. Not sure what to use to accurately count my calories burned though. Is MFP accurate?
-
I've been logging everything including sugar intake. And I use MFPs exercise management apps. I don't really have any cheat days other than when I drink on the weekends sometimes. Maybe once or twice a month. I drink quite a bit, but I'm unsure how to count calories in alcohol itself since there's no nutritional…

absolutely. I know this well and I don't understand it either. I spoke concerns to a doctor about it and he sent me in for lab tests to check my thyroid and stuff. I had a vitamin d3 deficiency and high levels of a particular liver enzyme and they have no idea why. Doctors don't know what's going on and dietitians look at…
