What does your day look like at the moment Krista? I can see obviously that you work 4pm-12am, but how is the rest of your day structured? It may be best to try and eat a good sized meal before you head off to work. I assume that working an 8 hour shift you get some sort of break? What are you eating during that time? I…

I used to be terrible for this! I remember waking up in the night hungry once, and taking a packet of crisps upstairs to eat in bed. This was at 2/3am. My boyfriend (now Husband) was staying over and I woke him up with my munching! He made me feel pretty bad about the fact that I was eating crisps literally in the middle…

We're down to 13 weeks now! I'd like to get down to 173lbs, which would put me at a healthy BMI (just!), but means losing 18lbs. That's just under 1.5lbs per week, so fingers crossed! Realistically, I'd be happy to lose another 10lbs, as that will get me into the next stone bracket :)

I lost 4 stone on SW a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed it, as I never felt deprived and it was easy to follow. If you're focused on it, and fill in your food diaries honestly and consistently, you can definitely lose. I know a lady who has lost 11 stone on it so far :) I gained weight back though when I went off plan…

I had one of these days yesterday... thankfully I had a PT session booked. 200+ Squats and some boxing later and I felt like a new woman! If I don't have a PT session though, a good long run will usually sort me out!

My greatest weakness is fresh bread! OP - thank you for sharing your story. I agree with others that removing the "bad" food from your home will help you curb your binges. I also tie my emotions to food, but I'm finding new ways to cope. Instead of going home and stuffing my face, I try to find other ways to relax first. I…

Ok, so... the problems I'm seeing you face here are: 1) Portion Control 2) The "I've ruined my whole diet by having this one bad thing, I might as well give up" mentality 3) Boredom I'm going to address these in 3 parts: 1) It's ok to eat a lot. I know I like a big dinner, so I save most of my calories for then. If you…

I’ve lost a human head, which is... concerning to say the least!

Lower belly! It’s always been where I’ve carried the most weight. Even at my lightest it was still my problem area! I like the idea of measuring different parts of your belly though, I only measure my waist but I’m going to measure the bigger bit too!

Firstly, good luck on your weight loss journey! :) I find it helpful to plan my meals for the week at the weekends and shop accordingly. That way, you have the right foods in your house and are less likely to cave in and go over your calories :) Following on from that, I pre-track all my day’s calories in the morning. It’s…

You sound like me! Do love a bit of Avocado though - it's why I stopped SW lol! Well, that and the fact that it took me 18 months to lose just over 1 stone when I rejoined. Pfft.

I tend to just reduce my portion sizes, rather than cut anything outright. I eat an ungodly amount of rice. On days I'm tight on calories, I eat less. I'll take the same approach when my calories get recalculated. Other than that... maybe less chocolate lol

I always hit a plateau on Slimming World at a certain weight. I think it's because you reach maintenance calories at that point. To fix this on SW, I became obsessive with my food diary, and started having a few less syns (therefore creating a calorie deficit). I have to say though, although I lost 4 stone with SW I do…

I lost 56lbs on BC a couple of years ago. I gained it back because Pizza lol But yeah, BC shouldn’t stop you losing, might just increase your appetite as mentioned above.

I had half a cookie. I’d have liked a whole one, but it was too many calories! Delicious cookie though

Not in random places that I’ve noticed, but I do definitely find I get more pimples when I’m losing weight! It settles down after a couple of weeks for me x

Quite a few for me! I'm 193lbs right now, and a UK size 14. I would, however, say that it's a tight 14. I need to get to around 168lbs to get back into my size 12 jeans, which is about 25lbs! :O For reference, I'm 5'10" and I carry most of my weight on my bottom half.

How does anyone know what to buy at the shop if you don't plan your meals? :D To me, meal planning means sitting down and deciding what you're going to buy (and therefore eat) for the week ahead. This means that, as a general rule, there's very little food wastage and we're less likely to end up eating out. Meal prepping…

I'm 5'10" and I have the 42mm screen. I have quite slim wrists, but I don't find that it looks too big. My Mum is your height, and also has the bigger screen which she loves! Mine has gotten a little scratched, but I've had it 2 years now so can't complain too much. My main issue is that I smack it off door handles quite a…

I'm from just outside of Birmingham. Feel free to add me :) trying to lose the weight I've already lost once before ;)

Yep. Sadly I have to adult instead, otherwise I'll have no food for the week :(

Hopefully the lower oestrogen helps! I'm on the progesterone only pill as I've had bad results with the combined pill. Mine is called Cerazette and it's been fab so far. I like the routine of taking one EVERY day too lol :) X

Sodium for sure. Also fat (mostly the bad kinds I think lol) and protein! I seem to eat wayyy too much protein!
-
I'd return it, because with 15lbs to go you could find that it'll be too big when you get to target! $46 is a lot of money to spend on a gamble Xx

Lightly active. I have a desk job, but end up doing a lot of walking between the office and warehouse. A typical day also includes a walk to the shops, so I'm doing 4-5000 steps a day without thinking about it. I log my exercise separately, because at the weekends I'll be out running for 3+ hours lol

I love the idea of using the barcode scanner as a game! I keep forgetting about it and searching for my food manually :|

:D :D :D That one made me laugh! In answer to the question, naked or in my knickers depending on what I wore (or didn't) to bed the previous night. I'm weighing myself, not my outfit too!

I realised that if I got pregnant, I wouldn't need to worry about hiding it for the 1st 12 weeks because my pot belly would disguise it. Not being able to tell if I'm pregnant or fat is my biggest worry, so I'm committing to get back to a UK size 10/12 before we start trying next year.
