Yes, I'm a fan of their music!
But I'm talking about waking up in the middle of the night to snack. It's a habit indeed, but what works for you to stop night snacking?

    I use to do the same thing. You get in a habit and it’s hard to break. What I did is finally realized I was self sabotaging by doing this. I decided if I wake up besides trying or go back to sleep,I would read and tell myself kitchen closed. If I had to have something, it would be carrots,celery or water. I was surprised after a couple weeks I no longer look to eat after bedtime. I truly believe if you work on training your brain,you will have different results. Hope this helps.

    Don't have this problem, but your thread title hooked me. As a guitar player (hacker actually), it's my type of music - hard rock, but pleasing melodically - and these guys were/are extremely tight. Great band.

    Why are you waking up in the middle of the night at all? I'd work on improving your sleep habits.

    I value sleep too much to wake up in the middle of the night. I'm out by the time my head hits the pillow.

    I don't snack in the middle of the night (sleep is good), but I curbed snacking in my bedroom by buying a 2 story house :) I won't hike down the stairs for food unless I'm actually hungry, not bored/stressed/angry/sad.

    Have you tried altering the macros of your last meal at night? I know if I don't get enough protein, I'm hungry again in a couple of hours. You could try drinking water when you want to snack, but then you'd have to get up to pee anyway...

    I have a daughter with health issues that require at least 2 middle of the night checks.....I actually save some calories just for these times. I set aside a snack before I go to bed.

    I remember waking up in the night hungry once, and taking a packet of crisps upstairs to eat in bed. This was at 2/3am. My boyfriend (now Husband) was staying over and I woke him up with my munching!

    He made me feel pretty bad about the fact that I was eating crisps literally in the middle of the night, so that was when I realised I had a real problem!

    Now if I wake up hungry, I go downstairs and have some water. If I'm still hungry 10 minutes later, I might have a small chocolate bar or something, but usually I don't have anything in so it's tough luck lol

    To be honest though, if you could at least count your snack that would help keep you on track. It doesn't matter what time you eat :)

    You are right! I bought some grapes just in case. So far it's helped the past 2 nights. I just wake up and walk around inside the house, check door locks, peep out and the pups and mosey on back to bed lol.

    I was also a horrible middle of the night eater. Sometimes I still am. In order to fall back to sleep, sometimes it's as simple as a glass of water, but sometimes I snack on cucumbers or have a glass of unsweetened almond milk (30 calories).

    Im the same. One child with disabilities and one breastfeeding so i keep some cals in case i need something
