You can do this! Be consistent with food and daily exercise, even if it's walking more daily. You got this. 💪🏽😊

Welcome back to the app! It's my first time logging on after a long break too. You can do this! 😊

I'm not so new as I've used the app before but it's been a long time since I've logged on. Maybe 2 years. 🤔 Hoping to get myself back to full fitness and meet new people along the way. 😊

I'm interested! Since lockdown here in the UK my weight has been up and down and I've gotten into some bad habits of eating so would be great to be in a supportive group.

I've always struggled with my sweet tooth. I'm such a sugar addict and have to try so hard to keep away...failing miserably most the time. Being at home so much at the moment isn't helping but I'm trying to up my cardio more to combat the eating right now.😊

I'm missing the gym desperately and trying to get into the "workout at home" thing! One positive is with the weather being nice I've been running more.🤗

Same here. Think it's a common issue that a lot of people have. Not advice but take comfort in knowing you're not on your own.😊

I've been going to a boxing gym for about a year and absolutely love the workout! I found a new respect for boxers when I started as I don't think most people realise how tough it is. I do this alongside weight training and running.

I'm a binge eater. I can't eat part of a big bar of chocolate, I eat the whole damn thing! For me, I choose when to eat it. I don't have t everyday but I do allow myself treats. Are you able to cut it out during the week and indulge a little at the weekends?

Stick with it. You will see results eventually it just takes some time and your body will be adjusting. As long as you're truthful with logging your calories and keeping up the exercise there's no reason why you shouldn't begin to lose weight soon! :)

Sugar free jelly is a good one. A cup is only 8 calories and if you're a sugar addict like me it helps to take the craving away.

Surely you should stick to listening to the birds, right?

I don't want to have to breath in all night when I'm out.

I'm not currently doing couch to 5K but it was what I used when I first got into running/losing weight and it really did work for me. The voice on the app gave me the encouragement to keep going and it slowly built up my stamina rather than me panting like someone having a heart attack at the side of the road! Which is…

Loving all the comments on this thread! I’m 36 (nearly 37) and this is possibly the strongest and fittest I’ve ever been. However, I’ve been slipping back into bad eating habit recently which is why I’m back on MFP. Feel free to add me as I’m looking for some motivation to keep it going! Good luck to all the (not-so and)…

Welcome Paul! I’m pretty new myself to the community on MFP. Been using the app on and off for a couple of years though. In need of motivation!

I’ve been using the app for a few years on and off. I have no idea how to add friends as it’s the first time I’ve been on the community area. Would be good to be in touch with people to keep motivated.
