Hi Aurelia and welcome to MFP. Best of success with your journey :)

This is the only place where being called a Big Loser...is a good thing! 😉

Yes Blondee, people read these posts and I just read all of yours and I will read future posts because I care to know how you make out with your journey. A lot of us here have suffered from illnesses or injuries. We all have our own unique challenges. Losing weight is hard enough. Losing weight around an injury or illness…

Ashlee, I have seen it way too often here on MFP...cries of frustration and discouragement regarding ones weight not budging or even increasing after days or weeks into the journey. Motivation comes from within....as in how determined and how driven you are to set a course towards your goal and how strong you are to rise up from your stumbles, which we all experience. Motivation also comes from outside sources. Build yourself a support group here or in the real world with friends…

Nicole, you've got the attitude of a fighter so the odds of success are on your side. This journey is difficult for all of us here. We all have our own unique and individual challenges. We create ourselves a support group of friends with similar situations or challenges to cheer us on during the good days and to pick us up…

Bonjour...Montréal❣

Hi Sonya, best of success!
-
Melissa, for long term success, you can't totally eliminate foods you enjoy. Yes, you can have that cheeseburger, but not every day...much less frequent....say, twice a month. And instead of having a triple cheese with bacon and the works, you can have a single.

Exercise and burn 500 calories. Then you'll be able to eat 1500 calories! ;-)

Be careful, that's a huge loss in a very short period of time. You either stopped eating or you lost a lot of water/fluids :-)
