I’m 5’10” and started at 220. Today I’m 178.8. I try not to think about an end goal weight. My goal is always one pound less than what I weigh. A few years ago a tried to lose weight and was fixated on reaching 145 lbs. My weight wasn’t dropping as fast as I thought it should and the goal seemed so far away it was…

December week #1 is done and it was a good one. Was able to keep within 50 caps of my daily calorie goal and got in my 10000 steps each day-and the scale responded accordingly (down 2 lbs) Adding the the walking this week, I think has made all the difference. I work from home so unless I make a concerted effort to exercise…

You look absolutely wonderful and are areal inspiration,, I’m just starting my journey at about the same place you started yours, and I have a question: just wondering how long has it taken you to drop 50 pounds?

Looking forward to starting 2020 on the right foot - with better dietary and exercise habits. I’ve tried doing this on my own in the past and have never stuck with it long enough to see any results. I’m hoping a bit accountability and encouragement will keep me on the right path! Wishing everyone a GREAT December ! Ht 5’9”…

Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions! I’ve got A daily activity goal that I hit most days (1,200 steps) and my daily calories intake is set at 1400. I’m going to try reminding myself that onderland is where I want to be and then stop looking at the scale daily. Time to think about something other than the number in…

Down.8 this week, but it feels like a plateau ... up a bit, down a bit, up a bit.... Another week of zero exercise thanks to the pre-Christmas cold and not as much water as I should be drinking. This week - I’m going to be particularly mindful about what passes my lips. No resolutions or promises, just mindful..., Merry…

Ok I’m way,way late to this party, but I’m jumping in anyway! SW: 215 (11.1.18) CW: 201.6 (12.16.18) GW: 180 (3.01.19) SGW: 155 Was getting my 10,000 steps in daily, until I came down with flu just over a week ago. Still feel like bum, but lots of fluids and no appetite kept me on track. Tomorrow- I walk!

Moving my calories from 1500 to 1700, and hoping to see some weight drop in a couple of weeks from now. I think I’ve been eating too few calories based on what folks have been saying. I’ll post again in 2 weeks with an update (keeping fingers crossed)

My start weight was 224. I dropped to 189, but put 10 pounds back on over the summer. I stopped logging and over-indulged on weekends. Lesson learned: I need to weigh my food and log to stay on track.

Thanks to everyone for contributing to this thread. It's been really helpful. I'll set my caloric goal at 1500 for the next month and see what happens I was hoping for 2lbs a week but will be happy as long as I see the scale start to move in the right direction....
