When I workout late I usually just snack on some cottage cheese and veggies rather than have a larger meal. Cottage cheese is a great source of protein and also digests slowly so it's perfect before bed.

Way to go! That's awesome!!

Wow. That is so much for one person to go through. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you continue to move forward : )

Get up earlier and work out in the morning. Lifting weights, especially, will raise your metabolic rate and help your body to continue to burn calories throughout the day.

A detox cleanse or some fad diet is not what I'm looking for. I'm well aware that they don't work. I don't want to starve myself, I'm just looking for suggestions in food that help alleviate bloat, and what I should avoid.

I am a binge eater too. Especially when I have a lot of downtime. I started drinking tea and it's really helped. I picked out some yummy flavors to try. It's almost like a treat to brew up some tea and sip on at work and at home. Sometimes I like to throw some honey or agave in to sweeten it up!!

Yes I agree, my stomach is probably used to more food. Also my brain is probably used to bigger means. I sometimes graze but maybe I need to pick different snacks

I usually workout 3-4 times a week, doing 25-30 mins of cardio and 10-15 mins of strength. On workout days I usually eat back my calories. I think 1200 is probably too low. I'll try 1400 and see if that helps. Thanks for the advice!

My diary should be open :)

I am right there with you. I can diet really well when I'm dedicated, but once I lose motivation it all goes down hill. Here's to new beginnings!

I love it in smoothies in place of milk or yogurt. Gives it a creamier texture. I also like it with avocado, cucumber, and chia seeds :)

I'm running at 5mph now and I'm running about 3-4 miles at a time now. I know I'm slacking it's just hard to stay motivated. I get discouraged easily.

I think my longest run so far has been 4 miles

I'm hoping to just finish! Im not too concerned with the time since this is my first one and I know it's going to tough! I've heard a slow and steady start is key!

Honestly I'm having troubles building my cardio up! I've been running a couple times a week but since it's 6 months away I feel like I should have some miles built up by now. Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely check that out!
