Hey guys! I've been feeling extremely bloated the past week and it seems to keep coming back. I feel like I need to do a cleanse to kinda refresh my system. I just got a gallon of aloe juice because I heard that it's really good for your body to drink a tablespoon or two in the morning. What are some other ways to cleanse?

The liver and kidneys in good working order is all you need.

Money in your wallet is a great cleanse. Otherwise for me it's plenty of water and fiber.

Nutritious diet and exercise with sensible sodium intake while keeping well hydrated to help reduce bloating?

Drink water. That's about it, but the water's not cleansing you. It's just good for you and helps your organs out, because that's why you have organs. They do all the cleansing for you.

A detox cleanse or some fad diet is not what I'm looking for. I'm well aware that they don't work. I don't want to starve myself, I'm just looking for suggestions in food that help alleviate bloat, and what I should avoid.

Water and fiber. The water to keep you hydrated and maintain healthy sodium levels and the fiber to well...make you poop regularly. Best ways to keep bloating away. Check your daily fiber intake and make sure you are getting enough especially since you said this is a reoccurring thing.

I second drinking more water. For me, exercise also help a little since I sweat.

Foods to avoid - for me personally that's gluten and lactose. But they make me bloat because I have an ibs reaction to them, most normal people I know don't get bloated from them.

Too much sodium can make one bloat, TOM is another one.

Somewhere on Greatist - I just read about a 3 day soup smoothie cleanse that supposedly is very good to get rid of the bloat. Since it is soup and smoothies you are getting the whole vegetables with fiber unlike juice cleanses.

While I wouldn't use the term "cleanse", I sometimes feel bloated and crampy due to not going to the bathroom enough. Every once in a while I will use Senokot. Take 2 tablets before bedtime. I eat as much fiber and greens as I can, and drink lots of water. Sometimes it's just not enough. However, I don't know anything about aloe juice... don't know if I'd try that or not.

When I show up after three people have already said water and fiber, I feel like I lost an opportunity to say:
    water and fiber

Cleanse the word "cleanse" from your nutrition vocabulary. Then go for a jog, or just don't eat for a couple hours, or both. That's what I do when I feel bloated, and it happens more times than I'd care to admit. Food can take up to 72 hours to digest, you probably have just have build up from food that hasn't had enough time yet. Give it a few hours and you should be fine.
Don't know much about 'aloe juice' but a google search had all of my scam alarms going off. Since you already paid for it, go ahead with it, can't hurt you too much

Wanted to add some more specifics, I would aim for 30g+ of fiber, and make sure you get a lot of foods that contains potassium and magnesium, and they will help alleviate some effects of sodium.
