  • Hi I'm currently doing pre training. I used to be fairly fit but haven't done anything properly for the last year really and even though I've only put on a couple of pounds I have lost muscle and replaced it with fat! Not feeling good about my body and exercise has always helped my mental health. Add me as a friend
  • U say u have lost 3 stone in four months is that correct? I think this is pretty common when losing weight too fast. This just stood out to me as a possible cause.
  • It's not all I ever talk about but thanks for clearing it up for me. Obsession sounds so negative I prefer passion.
  • My husband told me to stop talking about it the other day. Apparently I'm obsessed (I'm not) and it's all I ever talk about. I told him it's not an obsession it's a passion. It's OK though I'll just talk to my fitness friends about it and when he starts talking and talking about his likes I can tell him very bluntly that I…
  • I know you are all right just disappointed with myself but it's done now nothing I can do about it but on a positive note today has been a good day so far. No I don't normally cut out treats and I don't have issues with moderation I've been doing this for nearly two years. I think just writing it down has made me see how…
  • It's not about it being the holidays that irrelevant really. It's not like I'm on holiday just that the kids are home. I just need to figure out how to get back on track. Ur right though I don't want to set myself up to fail. I'll try pre logging my day but I do think I need to cut out chocolate for several days at least…
  • My breakfast, lunch and snacks even are pretty much the same every day. Dinner is different and I might have a different snack now and again. I find it easy and I don't get bored. I have an open diary if u want to look.
  • Porridge, avocado, Greek yoghurt, chicken breast, tuna, salmon, all the veg, almond milk, protein powder, eggs.
  • I did find that it didn't accurately log my walks. If I say went out for a 30 min walk it would say I had burned 130 calories. Was a bit skeptical of this so started logging the walk on my fitbit so that the times matched up and it reduced it to around 60 calories burned which sounds much more sensible. I've found it…
  • I wouldn't say it gives me more energy. It gives me more stamina, I can do daily activities for longer without getting tired or out of breath. Things are generally easier. I do love the endorphins after exercise though they make me feel like I can do anything.
  • I've just started crossfit. Got my second session tomorrow. Loved the first one and hope it becomes part of my exercise routine. Add me if u like.
  • Add me please I'm 5ft 4 and 126 pounds, trying to drop more fat but not looking to lose weight. I'm after the ever elusive abs. My goals are more fitness based I've just added crossfit into my routine and really enjoying it.
  • Fitness blender. Simple to understand, counts down the minutes and tells u how many calories it burns. I found Gillian Michaels 30 day shred too high Impact on my joints. Really hurts my knees.
  • Breakfast was egg scrambled with mushrooms and spinach with a slice of wholemeal bread and avocado. Lunch was salmon fillet with stir fry carrots, sprouts and broccoli Snack Greek yoghurt with sliced banana and walnuts Dinner was a roast chicken dinner with lots of veggies. Love good food!
  • Love this made me chuckle. I will just have to squat to the floor if I want to pick something up. I am proud of what my body's achieved and I'm pretty happy with how it looks just this one thing I would change. At least it's flat when I standing straight, a year ago I would have been ecstatic to have that! If that's the…
  • Just realised this is a super old thread. Don't know why it was on the first page
  • I'm 5 ft 4 too and started at 154 pounds it's taken me over a year to lose 28 pounds and I'm now 126 pounds. I want to lose some more body fat but I'm not trying to lose any more weight I'm trying to build more muscle. I would say that losing slowly has meant I've learnt how to eat much better. I started off trying to…
  • No I don't buy in to anything with outrageous claims. I just eat well and workout. I know I need to start a proper weight training programme it's just being brave enough to join the weight section at the gym. I already use the dumbells and Kettlebells and weights machine but I know that's not enough. Good to know other…
