Beef is tastier, but also, if both are 93/7:

Daily, but I don't pay it any attention. Mostly, it's a gauge to see how much sodium was in my food the previous night :D . I'm one of those who measure progress in inches lost, not weight.

https://truenutrition.com/default.aspx Go to that site. You can customize your protein blend (soy free, paleo, vegan etc), sweetener and flavor.

If my doctor told me to eat "very low carb, little fat and mostly protein", I'd take that to mean: 1) The main source of carbs would be vegetables - pick from the low carb list: http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/whattoeat/a/whatveg.htm 2) When cooking, I would go for mostly baked lean meat/fish, using dry rubs or low carb…

Water. Also, if you can, estimate how much over your calories you went. Then see how many more mins of exercise/less calories you should eat during the week to compensate.
-
Sorry, man. You only lost 24. :'( :D
-
Skinny fat (weight loss) vs toned (fat loss means your muscles will be more defined)
-
Same here. I need success stories where people lost inches on their thighs, please. :D

Limit/watch your calories. All that hanging out at the coffee shop/quad where pastries/burgers/vending machines are? Bad idea unless you have the will to resist. Also, pub nights/pub crawl calories pile up, watch the alcohol and the munchies, and don't be lazy preparing your own food. I know food vendors are more…

In Rick Astley's words, "Never gonna give you uppp..." zero calories is zero calories, at the most basic level. Debates as to nutritional impact of chemicals, will inevitably follow.

Quest - Chocolate Peanutbutter bar - 170 calories, is decent.
-
Isn't it something like applesauce in place of butter, etc? ...but looking at the actual recipe, there's really not a whole lot you can do. It's a pretty decadent cake.
-
What's your water intake like?
-
I love this cauliflower crust. Although I don't use it as such (I like it plain, as is :D ). Have you found a more efficient way of squeezing out all the liquid? That part is so troublesome that I end up not having this as much as I like.

Go eat dimsum. Get the steamed dishes, they also come in pretty portion controlled.
-
Agree with this. The other day, I was annoyed at the grocery because a package of chicken was going to cost me $9.00. Then I realized that would get me through at least 5 meals. Whereas $9.00 at a restaurant was just the cost of an appetizer, and an entree is easily twice that. :D

The protein bar I eat tastes and has a texture so much like a chocolate bar, that I have no regrets. :D
-
How do you guys do it? It's never as good as the fresh, except maybe chili or stew. People who precook bulk chicken breasts. UGH. By the following day it's already weird, and reheating it just makes it dry. Same with eggs.
-
Go to one of those smoothie shops and see what brand they use. Those are probably super durable.
-
Weigh food before marinading. Weigh after. Subtract the difference, find how many calories that is.
-
Did not like. Tasted weird and the chocolate was almost chalky.

Currently 140 with 32% BF :s . I want to be 22-24% at least.
-
Whoa. Can I get your BBQ jalapeno chicken recipe? That sounds awesome.

I like a lot of the motivational posts on the Controlled Labs facebook. The one I just saw was: "Giving up on your goal because of one setback is like slashing your other three tyres because you got one flat". :D Keep at it!

Then don't restrict yourself to "breakfast foods". Eat pork tenderloin and a baked potato if you like. I'm sure your body won't know that it's not actually ham/bacon and hash browns.

What is considered "excess"? More than 1000 mg?
-
Legit willpower. Can you give me some? :D
