I am not training, I should do some exercise, I'm a recording studio engineer, spend long days in studio...go all day without eating, drinking coffee and monster, and still find a way to get home and eat a bag of chips for supper. I don't know if I have much advice, but I understand how tough it is to cut calories, I put my goals more moderate, so I could eat a bit more...Eating 1500 calories per day would keep me hungry all of the time, and hunger=grumpy. :) Keep up the good work, and be nice to yourself.
