  • I usually work at four in the morning and already getting up at three kills me. So nope to morning.
  • I think from what I’ve seen throughout this thread, keto is not for me. I’ll probably stick with CICO since I think of have an issue with not having carbs.
  • Thank you so much!! I'm going to try that and see if it helps out :)
  • Try it at the 1500 or the 1800? I just wanna make sure I do this right. I have a wedding that I'm a bridesmaid in that's in October. But even pastvthat, I wanna lose weight and get in shape. I don't want to be counter productive.
  • 1800 is my number after I take off 500 calories for weight loss; maintenance number is around 2300. So perhaps I need to bump up to 1500 plus what I work off with Insanity so 1800 total or should I start my base calories at 1800 plus work out calories?
  • Bump to get assistance :)
  • Thank you! The first picture was my wedding day and I remember the reason I didn't have an actual dress was because of my weight. When I get to my goal weight, we're gonna get an actual wedding dress and do an official wedding shoot :) definitely my next big goal!
  • Halfway through week three! Again, noticing I'm getting stronger and slowly but surely I'm starting to step away from Michelle and her modifiers. I still use her for most of them but I'm seeing more real planks and high legs than before!
  • It comes with the premium membership; the $100 a year plan. Same with a few of the other top programs like 21 Day Fix and Cize I believe. I'm noticing small improvements in how I perform some exercises. Like right now I can only do planks on my knees but there have been a few times I could go into full plank and follow…
  • I guess that's not a bad idea. I'm definitely not in the realm of sharing them comfortably but I would like to see the difference. I know I already see a difference from this point last year but that's unrelated to seeing a PiYo difference :)
  • Oh wow I love the before and after pic! I'm not really comfortable with pics myself BUT I did take measurements and weight when I started so in sixish weeks I will share those :) I've definitely noticed flexibility improvements already and from what I've read, you don't even scratch the surface of butt kicking until the…
  • I tried the 21 day fix before but for me, I couldn't do 21 straight days. I needed my one day off a week like I get with PiYo. But if you've got the willpower then I'm cheering you on!!
  • I weighed myself today after getting through a week and a half and FINALLY I broke through my plateau of no weight loss. Lost about a lb and as I said before, I'm feeling myself getting stronger and can see improvements in the exercises I can do. ALSO! I am not following the good program portion of it so you might get…
  • Still hoping to see some success stories from PiYo and Beachbody! ❤️
  • I'm excited to get under 200 lbs! I'm 3 lbs away from Onederland; I've been plateauing at this spot for about a month but after the doctor tomorrow, I'm hoping to get some help with my back so I can get the all clear to work out a bit more to whittle down. So close!!
  • I've been working out recently and today during a PiYo workout (which unfortunately I had to end early due to back pain) I was able to keep up with a lot of the moves AND I was able to do more triceps push ups! I'm already noticing that I'm getting stronger; I'm hoping my doctor will know what my back pain is so I can fix…
  • Okay I wasn't sure. I hear so much about clean eating and that it's preferred over calorie counting but honestly that means more trips to the store to keep fresh stuff and I just don't have that time.
  • Okay that does make me feel a bit better about it :) I've been reading a lot of stuff online about since it has all these artificial ingredients it was so super bad but I'm thinking hey, it's not soda or sugary juices so it can't be all bad right?
  • Today I had a job interview at a bank and was panicking on what I should wear. A lot of my clothes have gotten too small for me from gaining weight so I wasn't sure what I had. Well I've lost 22 lbs or so and I decided, okay this shirt maybe will fit, let's try it on. And it fit BEAUTIFULLY. I had a lovely shirt to wear…
  • For the first time in five years since I got out of the Army, I ran! Granted it was at a 4.4 speed and I did a minute at a time while walking in between but I still ran! My friend and I have been making trips to the gym and even though I'm waiting to do C25K until after I move and can get to the gym more, I decided that I…
  • I haven't been in the military for about five years now so the last time I ran was five years ago  And when I say I ran a lot in basic/enlistment I mean I ran way more than I ever did the rest of my life and I enjoyed running when I wasn't under pressure or doing a PT test. The plan after we move at the end of the…
  • Thank you all for your comments and opinions! I wasn't sure if it was a legitimately good plan to follow or not (c25k that is). I hope the same success can be found on a treadmill; I'm nowhere near comfortable running outdoors in public.
  • My goals are to lose weight and start running. In November, I plan on starting the C25K at the gym; since we'll be doing three sessions a week, that'll fit in nicely with the program. But for October, it's just two days a week for an hour session. I want to lose weight and get back into my army weight scale (maybe not…
  • The Strong Lifts 5x5; can I find that plan online for free or is it something I need to purchase? The running theme here seems to be weight/strength training first and cardio second so I'm definitely going to plan on that. I think we plan on doing three days a week at the gym; Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. And then pick…
  • I didn't realize I had so many responses until I checked this today. Okay. No, I haven't gotten treatment for the purging because I haven't really admitted it to anyone, even my husband. I can admit it freely on here because, well, it's the internet. You're all strangers and if you judge me, that doesn't really bother me…
  • I currently don't see a therapist or take medication for a few reasons. 1) my insurance is through the Army and I was married last year. For some reason I can't get my name changes so my insurance is under my maiden name. 2) I also have polycystic ovarian syndrome (my life lottery hit the jackpot apparently) and am…
  • That's exactly how I am. If I do a good workout I'll usually do really well good wise UNTIL there's a trigger whether it be food or stress or something RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I can't do avoidance well. And sometimes if I gorge on something and feel guilty afterwards I'll purge it which is so shameful but I get in this…
  • Thanks you guys; Leah I think I needed to hear a few of those remarks. I know the Internet is an unforgiving place but I'm not a sociable person because of my weight so I don't have many real life friends. I have one or two but I'm still unsure how much I can share ya know? I don't want to be that depressed far girl that…
  • Thank you guys all for your input! The Nutrisystem starter box came with this little booklet about the meals and the six meals a day. (Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert.) I pretty much took that booklet and have just been preparing my own meals following that essential idea. So far it's working; I've lost…
  • That's so awesome! Way to go :D
