Hmmm, okay, thank you! 🙂 I'm going to eat 3000 a day for the time being, and just keep monitoring my weight.
-
I've always weighed myself every three-ten days depending on whether or not I feel as though my weight has changed.. I've been 55-56kg for a long time so I doubt it was water retention, and now at just under 54kg I'm only like 1kg away from underweight 🙁

I'm eating pretty much the same foods now as pre-lockdown. I'm brisk walking (4.8-55.1mph) for 60 minutes outside each morning instead of on the treadmill- does outdoor walking burn a lot more calories? I'm doing 30-60 minutes other exercise on top of my walk, plus I'm on my feet all day and try to keep physically busy all…
-
Thank you, I might try that

I classify myself as recovered from my eating disorder, but I am still hyper-aware of my weight and I tend to fixate on numbers (not just in terms of weight, but in all aspects of life), and I lack body confidence.. I know numbers don't matter, especially as I don't think I look fatter anc my fitness hasn't decreased, bug…

I'm just paranoid..
-
I eat maintenance amounts usually, unless I'm dramatically underestimating..
-
Should I stop weighing myself?

Should I stop weighing myself?

Being underweight is NOT healthier than being overweight. I had friends who died from complications due to being underweight, but none if my overweight friends are actually unhealthy or ill.

This helped me to rationalise my thoughts, thank you <3

I've spoken to PTs and doctors about body fat, and for a woman 20-33% is healthy, 18% at the least and only if you're fairly muscular. Most female athletes and personal trainers tend to aim for 18-22% which is super lean for a woman! My own body fat is about 16%, and I've been told mine is too low. I'm trying to increase…
-
I think I'm too scared of getting fat to wait that long :s
-
I'm not trying to bulk, I'm just experimenting with how much food I can maintain on!
-
Thank you!
-
This was very helpful, thank you! I'd find it very challenging physically to reach 3000 calories though! I suppose if I'm ever super Hungry, I'll reach it!
-
No, I've been recovered for two years! I've been maintaining on 2100-2700 a day for the past year or so!
-
I don't know whether or not it was suppressed, I just assume it was if I was maintaining on 800 less than I apparently need each day! I'm not trying to lose weight. No health issues but I had an eating disorder when I was 15 years old until I was 19/20

Thank you

Thank you so much! I believe the Fitbit actually tracks quite accurately for me, judging by what it calculates my burn based on my heart rate in all my activity :) I have a few friends who say Fitbit is accurate for them too, and one friend who says it UNDERestimates! I guess I find it hard to believe that I burn that much…
-
I'm just confused as to how I maintained/gained on less calories before increasing a week ago
-
I DON'T want to get leaner.
-
I guess I don't fully trust that I'm burning that much you know?
-
No I dont actually, hence increasing
-
I don't know how to post the screenshot, but if I send it to you in a private message, I'd really appreciate your thoughts on whether or not you think I've done it right x
-
Thank you for your help! I understand now! I'll take a screenshot of mine to check it looks right!

Thank you! I set my BMR as my base cals on here, because Fitbit adds every bit of my activity- over 1100 so far today for example- onto my base goal. If I set my base goal on here as "lightly active", it adds all my steps and gym classes onto that, even though without any of my steps or gym I'd be sedentary and therefore…
-
Maintain weight, I put my BMR as calculated by Fitbit (1340) as my base on MyFitnessPal, I average anywhere between 15,000-25,000 steps a day (Fitbit says more but I think it overestimates), and today my Fitbit says I've burned 4100 calories which, although I'm very active, I know is inaccurate- I've probably burned closer…
-
How do I enable negative adjustment? I've also set my Mfp base goal as what my Fitbit says my BMI is, or is this wrong considering I will burn cals whilst sedentary which are not in the exercise adjustment?
