  • Hi I also am catching up on the threads and inspired by your stories 12 days so far 8 AF...4 days not..most were wine..my favorite..now drinking red instead of my love which is chardonnay. My goal was to cut back at home during week and it looks like I am doing that..kinda feel I could be doing better...I think the 4 on…
  • @MissMay I too have sweet cravings and suddenly feel hungrier than ever overall.... Day 9 and so far 1 only margarita. I have gained weight since starting..I took off from my 5 day a week spin class weight training over holidays so that is likely the weight gain as well..I have glutamine powder supplement and will try…
  • 5th Day in, 1st weekend...on Sun. went to lunch at new Mex restaurant been dying to to try, had all intentions of sticking with AF, but did have one Margarita. When asked I wanted 2nd...said no and stuck to AF rest of day. Feeling successful since on Friday I had great career news from my boss and normally would have broke…
  • @wine_n_weights I notice a lack of decent AF choices when out..most just tasted like fruit juice..nothing complex and I don't care for sweet..some high end places may have AF Seedlip..it comes in several flavors..on Amazon I love the spice flavor with a slice of pink grapefruit.. I also have brought a small bottle of AF…
  • @Lilylady3k Good for you both...daily habit is what I do not care for..I read in UK instead of recommend #of ounces per day as limit based on gender..they push for at least a couple of consecutive days in a row AF for all..I think that makes more sense
  • @shorepine. Similar situation for me..it does not bother me, but would be nice to do this together for the in person support..for years I was home alone since he was night shift and rarely drank during the week..
  • Hi I am joining for Jan. 2020. This is my 2nd year..was fairly successful last year. Hope to do better this time. Looking forward to feeling more energized from taking a break from my nightly white wine
  • So inspiring, you look amazing, congratulations on your transformation !
  • Hi, Count me in for April, two days AF so far. I did dry jan. 2019 and did well keep going into Feb also...March slowly went back to old wine habit, so this is perfect timing. I liked the support and motivation the group provided. Drinking herbal tea which I love and also for mocktail Seedlip Spice with tonic and red…
  • I think 5lbs is good start...like the liver flush idea... Milk whistle is supposedly good supplement. I get liver function test every year as part of my yearly exam. Was surprised last year that one of the upper limits of the liver tests was lowered..the ALT enzyme went from UL of 55 to 35 because too many were passing but…
  • That sounds good! I love spice teas..my favorite is Stash Licorice Spice..
  • Avacado or Hummus on brown rice cake with a little pink salt sprinkled on. Mini Kind Bars. Ghirardelli 94% Dark Chocolate. Bag of Pirate Bootie. String cheese. Chobani Key lime Flip Yogurt
  • The best one thing for me is realizing it is not as difficult as I imagined it would be. I had taken some dry spells on my own before, but not through weekends. It has been a challenge as I love wine..but. discovering some great alternatives ..experimenting with some great mocktails using Calvits Shrubs..had a nice…
  • Not sure how many calories..doubt zero..not sure such a thing is made
  • Athletic Brewing co. A craft brewery dedicated to non alcoholic beer..they are in state of CN and ship..have not tried it yet..
  • Had a great week and more important a great weekend..which is my weak point. Here comes the But: last nite I did have a juice glass size of red wine with my dinner. I decided not to beat myself up over it as my usual Sat. and Sunday would have been several large glasses. Still in for challenge and trying to focus on…
  • Fortunately I do not have dependency issue, as I have know alcoholics who struggle and work so hard for sobriety. I stopped resolutions years ago to consciously take stock and think about how I am living. For me it so easy to get used to being on auto pilot, prepare to cook, pour wine, drink wine... and this does add up…
  • Hi, I was doing well until this past weekend went to a party and drank some champagne....disappointed, but back on track now, weekends will be trying. Go out alot on weekends and live in a small city within walking distance to restaurants, pubs...giving up wine during week is not too hard for me. I also like teas…
  • I would like to join. I was doing well with cutting back before Thanksgiving and my stomach was flattening. I had some alcohol free wines, but not sure if that is a good idea or not. The Ariel brand seems to be lowest sugar/calorie. If anyone has any other suggested brands in either Red or White I would be interested. Good…

  • My sister has it and loves it. I have done some of the workouts with her and liked it. If you do not want to spend the $100 a year you can google Popsugar Fitness and stream videos for free, I have done some and find them similar to BeachBody.
