  • Wish you could only buy one box at a time. Online requires buying an entire case. Looks good though
  • You could have a bulletproof coffee as a meal replacement or try intermittent fasting and not eat until lunch. It frees up time, saves money and goes well with Keto, since the plan makes you less hungry.
  • Ahhhh- so this is most likely good news!!!! Thank you for responding everyone. I’ve been wondering how long it takes to get fat adapted. I’ve still got the energy, am losing inches and have almost no cravings so I think that’s it.
  • One month of Keto as of today! I remember feeling bloated and just plain awful on 12/27/18, the day after we came home from visiting family for the holidays. I had been studying Keto and IF during December and decided to commit myself to one month of Keto with no cheating and I've done it!!! Yay!!! I believe this is the…
  • Thank you for sharing, this is very interesting. This shows how far you've come and gives a solid blueprint for your future goals. Love it! Wondering if there is a Dexafit in my area. I love that it measures the visceral fat too- what I'm mostly concerned with but have no idea where I'm at. I'm glad you mentioned throwing…
  • Happy Sunday Evening everyone. Feeling good about last week. I know the losses will start slowing down but I am enjoying them for now. I tried my first 24 hour fast yesterday that wasn't planned, I just wasn't hungry and thought I'd see if I could do it. It wasn't too bad, although I got a headache near the end. A year ago…
  • I've had mine for a year and I LOVE it! There are so many things I haven't tried in it, but my favorite is quick steaming of veggies and pot roast. I haven't perfected rice in it though...not sure why.
  • Thank you all for responding. It does feel like palpitations now that I read up on it, and I got them in the middle of the night last night which kept me up for awhile and scared me. Admittedly I didn’t drink as much water yesterday and forgot my Zero Powerade with added Himalayan salt. I’ll try that today to see if it…
  • Baybell cheeses - so tasty and zero carbs. Also blue cheese stuffed olives
  • Getting in the groove, week three. Still having some sleep issues, but the nausea is gone and I do have more energy. Two wins for me this week: I made Rice Krispie treats for my boys (chocolate with coconut marshmallows) and DID NOT EVEN LICK THE SPOON - think that may be a first and today, went out to breakfast and…
  • Hello and Happy Friday Eve! I have discovered Keto is a lot easier than I thought and combining it with intermittent fasting works for me. The main reason - I'm less hungry between meals and rarely snack and do not eat for at least a 16 hour window. What this means is that I no longer snack (binge) after dinner because I'm…
  • Being new to Keto I bought test strips to see how my body is reacting and if I’ve reached Ketosis yet. A doctor visit showed “trace” on the 31st, today I’m “moderate” and couldn’t be happier. To me it’s helpful; for about $7 I’ll use them again if for some reason I think I’ve left ketosis with too many carbs to monitor my…
  • Checking in as well - I started IF the beginning of December with no change in diet (other than extra bad stuff during Christmas week) and didn't gain weight. I started Keto for the first time right after Christmas. I think I'm finally getting the hang of having very low carb. One thing I do notice is that since I'm doing…
  • Very interesting... same thing happened to me at day four. I didn’t connect the two

  • I think I got this figured out- I’m at 16 grams of carbs today and 5% total. Thank you for all of your help
  • I’d like to join as well 😀
  • Thank you! I have a desk job but am walking and doing weight training as well (5X per week is the goal). I will need to learn to like cauliflower more.
  • I've had the same concerns with adding creamer to my coffee in the morning. I'm doing 16:8 IF. Originally I was using regular half & half, but then I read somewhere that to stay in the fast, you can't consume more than 50 or so calories, so I switched to fat free half and half for the low calories. Then it adds a small…
  • I’m in for the January challenge! I started Keto on 12/27 and can’t believe how “not hungry” I am. I started intermittent fasting a couple of weeks ago with 16/8. Having a hard time hitting the 75% fats macro though. Please add me. Thank you

  • Windsparrow- I'm proud of you for taking that leap. This is also a goal of mine, on my bucket list. Can't get the nerve to do it. I really want to learn to kayak and told myself I need to learn to swim first
  • Yep. This is super frustrating. I've uninstalled the app, disconnected, etc
  • Welcome aboard! I'm 47 and weigh the same. Got tired of running out of breath just putting my clothes on. I know what you mean when enough is enough. You are off to a great start.
  • Welcome aboard! There is a lot of support here. I'm 47, not far behind. Hoping to start my 50's healthier than I've been in my 40's . I've used the app before but never joined the community until now and it really helps
  • I noticed too that it won't count steps if you are holding on to something, like a treadmill or grocery cart. I try to steer the cart one handed (I wonder if other Fitbit owners at the store know why I do this). When I'm on the treadmill I wrap it around my shoelaces or put it in my pocket (which won't track heart rate…
  • Great job! It feels good to hit those milestones
  • Feel free to add me. Looking for accountability partners. I have 100 pounds to lose, am 47 with two teen boys and a husband and love walking my dog. I have a desk job so it's hard to stay active but I'm working on it. Trying to eat clean and limit breads, pasta and sweets. I also use a Fitbit and would love more Fitbit…
  • Welcome aboard! This is a great place for support. And helps keep you accountable. I sent you a friend request
  • Hi! I have over 100 lbs to lose. Have lost 8 pounds so far- goal is 105 total. I have two teen boys who love junk food and scoff at anything healthy. Am trying to change that. Feel free to add me
